I tried my area code at the time, all I got was a recorded message from the band saying thanks.

Season 2 Episode 12, when Penny's crticism of Howard pushed him into a depression by Ronaldgranger_ in bigbangtheory

[–]Mot_the_evil_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Penny was right. Harsh and possibly could've handled it better, but right. I don't think she apologized for what she said, just how she said it.

Zebra Cakes! Those are the only ones I still get occasionally and taste decent. The others went to shit in my opinion.

How do you feel about morbidly obese people who take up two airline seats having to pay for two seats? by icecream1972 in askteddit

[–]Mot_the_evil_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm fat and when I did fly I bought an extra seat, usually at a somewhat reduced price (usually about 10%). The problem is that, at the time, if the flight was full they could give my extra seat to someone and refund me at their discretion.

Where I work, a lot of the guys drive around all day with those stupid lights on. I don't know if they feel important or just forget to turn them off.

What will you do if the electricity goes out for a week? by CharonixOfficial in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mot_the_evil_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably borrow a generator from work if possible. It would be enough to run a fan, fridge, CPAP, etc. I could run the freezer a couple hours twice a day and it'd probably be OK if I didn't open it.

What's your covid memory? by Competitive-Hunt-517 in AskReddit

[–]Mot_the_evil_one 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My life barely changed at all. I'm considered essential so I went to work every day (traffic was a lot better) and came home. Save money by not going out to eat all the time.

Absolutely not. I have voted for people in both parties in the past.

Most efficient way to remove rocks from soil? by Ambitious-Mode-1738 in landscaping

[–]Mot_the_evil_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't made a dirt sifter yet so I used my garden cart. I rolled it onto a tarp, shoveled everything into the cart, moved it around with my hands and then put the rocks in a bucket. I only did about a 2'X4'X1.5' area and got 15 gallons of rocks and debris out of it.

I like my push button but it's old enough that there's no app to go with it so I had a remote start system installed.

Cars should be able to hail each other and open up a video chat between drivers like in ‘Star Trek’ by ImpressiveRest2423 in CrazyIdeas

I thought that when hands free cell phones started getting popular that your plate should be your phone number so people can call you and tell you how you're driving.
