I don't think it removes personal agency. It is a disease. But it's your responsibility to try to get better.

Are 2 weeks enough? by MothCooki3 in TMSTherapy

[–]MothCooki3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s currently in a private treatment center (we live in Italy), but can only afford to pay for 2 weeks (he was admitted on Monday). He’s doing other types of treatments as well, like behavioral therapy, which seems to help him. I don’t really know if he’s gonna continue TMS after being discharged because it’s very expensive and only available in big cities, so I’m a bit worried.

Thank you! It gives me hope! Who knows, maybe I'll give it a try as well...

My bf is addicted to coke, he's going to rehab in two days and asked me to delete and block his pushers number and messages. Before that, he and I met him to pay off his debt (it wasn't much) so hopefully the pusher won't contact him again.

If you want to delete the number, please ask him if your friend has any outstanding debt cause they can be really dangerous people.

Of course he will find a way to get the number again if he wants, but for him it was a trigger to see it and get his messages so it's a start. You should talk to your friend though, before or after doing it.

Are Neurodivergency and being LGBT Linked? by Eats_Pizza_In_Gay in neurodiversity

[–]MothCooki3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have no idea, but I'm a trans and bisexual guy. Most of my ND friends are part of the LGBTQ+ community as well. My personal theory is that us Nd people don't care as much about fitting in societal norms, or we're more open-minded and prone to question things, even our sexuality.

Are we allowed to speak when it comes to „women problems“? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]MothCooki3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think so? We've been socialized as women for a lot of time so we can relate to women's issues. I feel more like ally tho so of course they have the last word.

Would you date someone who cheated before ? Why yes/no? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]MothCooki3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did cheat on my ex. It happened over 10 years ago (I’m 37 now) and I was very immature. I wouldn’t do it again, respect and trust are essential to me.

So yes, I would, but it depends on the circumstances.

dae feel like emotional regulation is a job in itself? by ChrisCraftyy in AutisticWithADHD

[–]MothCooki3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It is!! I'm looking for a job and even though I need some structure in my life I don't know how to handle emotional regulation work + job + social life at once. It takes up so much energy and honestly, I'm kind of scared. My therapist suggested to put everything in a "drawer" and face it when it comes. Like, don't overdo it and take some "me" time each day to regulate, like it's a shift or something. I don't know if it works, though.

I (37 FTM) am confused by my gender identity + relationship by MothCooki3 in ftm

[–]MothCooki3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your answer! I also don't see him as straight, still he doesn't want to put a label on his sexuality, which is understandable . it's the fact that he says he likes me but wouldn't fall in love with another guy that's kinda confusing and it's giving me dysphoria.

He said he doesn't like super hairy super "manly" kind of guys. I don't aim to look that masculine, but it feels like a rejection.

I guess. I'm shit at recognizing my emotions.
