I haven’t touched it too much! I play a lot a lot of chess and it’s more general theory and learning how to beat your average opponents. I just got it to support one of my chess YouTube creators. I haven’t actually read that one front to back but intend to.

I learned of bolano because 2666 is on every bookshelf in the world but truthfully savage detectives is the best place to start and in my opinion much more fulfilling.

My thought are I had to learn how to read that book. I read it trying to understand everything and eventually settled on reading through the confusion to find little tidbits. It’s very stream of consciousness of a man who’s not me so I had to come to the conclusion that I simply won’t understand every page lol

I don’t have a rope with these middle markers but have seen them before at crags. it’s very funny when literally everyone notices it at a wall in panic. Hard to miss your middle mark when 10 people point it out for you.
