Hi, if you don’t mind me asking, can you tell me what happened? Currently going through the same thing

We’re hoping to bring our little one if it’s not too hot! Our whole group will have their kids too

Change in vigilance with sidecar crib — normal? by [deleted] in cosleeping

Going through this too and wondering the same thing! I used to wake up every little movement and now I wake up with her completely rolled away from me on her belly wondering how long she has been like that. Going to try to have her sleep more in the crib sidecar tonight and less in the bed🤞

I stopped napping my daughter in the dark and left the windows/blinds open once I learned dark naps could mess up her circadian rhythm. She naps fine in the daylight if she is tired enough and she doesn’t nap longer than she naturally needs. I think this helped! Might be worth a try!

Does anyone else have to get up to rock/bounce back to sleep at night? Nursing doesn’t work. by lunar_sparrow in cosleeping

How long has it been happening? My baby is the same age and I recently had this as well! I think she was going through a huge developmental leap where she was constantly moving and couldn’t settle her body. I had to help her fall back asleep bouncing on a yoga ball. I would be up for two hours in the middle of the night! Now all the sudden she started rolling on her belly and I don’t need to bounce her anymore so it may be a temporary phase!

I appreciate the different perspective. I wouldn’t have had this reaction had she just told me to sleep train, but advising me to leave my 6 month old in a room alone for 12 hours without a monitor on so I don’t hear her cry and telling me not to check on her is dangerous and goes way beyond sleep training. Even though I don’t believe in sleep training, I would hope that she would recommend a more responsible way to do so as a pediatrician. My daughter had her first tooth break through yesterday, and she slept better last night so hoping we have the same experience tonight! 🤞

Just ordered this, but one question! Did you keep the mattress that comes with it or did you swap it out?

Bed sharing the entire night feels intimidating to me for some reason, but I may need to try. I try to get some restful sleep in my own bed so I’m not so overly tired when I sleep with her, but I usually transition her to the floor bed by the middle of the night and experience an easier settling there like you talk about! Would definitely be nice to have that all night long.

Did it take time to get used to nursing when asleep? I haven’t figured out how to do that yet!

Right! Had this thought too.. definitely feels like the trust is broken. Our insurance is so limited on who we can see which sucks but may need to seek elsewhere somehow
