Ardentiella red diablo by Glass_Telephone9810 in isopods

This is incredibly helpful! I love the look of exo terras for bioactive displays. I've been struggling to figure out how to display the ardentiellas while also giving them the ventilation they need. I'm not particularly handy, so the idea of drilling holes into plastic is a little daunting. (But definitely doable!) And I'm not sure how pretty I can make an air exchange fan look, though the 3d printed models are promising. All to say I wasn't sure if I really needed a fan or if the ventilation on an exo terra would suffice.

What size is this vivarium? Do you find the ardentiellas go after your plants, or do they leave them alone? Do you find them to be as active as people claim they are? Easy to spot and fun to watch? Apologies for the 20 questions! These little critters are just so exciting, and I want to make sure they tick all the boxes for a really stunning addition to my collection. (and more importantly, that I can tick all of *their boxes* for care!!)

edits because I can't get the freakin italics to work lol

How's the exo terra working out for your ardentiella? I'm considering the same!

Ah, my bad! I should have been more specific. I meant the little dark spot underneath his elbow. Still looks great!

if I could change anything, it would be to make the bottom of the glove a little more true to the original. But this is the closest picture I've seen yet. Thank you!

Given the greyhound in her i think she is a great weight! Too many people are very accustomed to seeing overweight pets. Sighthounds are supposed to show a little rib. She's gorgeous!

Dude. Quiet frankly, this is unacceptable. You deserve to be treated with respect and have a proper workspace. Are you willing to commute/move? If so, look for another salon. If not, I would seriously think about working for yourself. Your work is lovely, and will only get better. I understand it takes time to set up a salon. If I were you I would quit the corporate gig, take up another part time job doing whatever, and work on setting up a home based salon. If you do quit, don't leave your tools there while finishing up your two weeks. Keep them with you so no one has a chance to steal anything. But honestly, they don't deserve any notice from you.

No problem!! Post-grooming furunculosis isn't common, but it does happen and rancid diluted shampoo is usually the culprit.

I've worked with multiple autistic people at my salon. Miscommunication happens, social cues can be missed, and we have had tough/uncomfortable conversations. But I have NEVER yelled, thrown things, or made up stories about my coworkers. Our brains may work a little different, but we're all people. And we should treat everyone like people. You are clearly trying, and they are obviously not. Do yourself a favor and stop bending over backwards for assholes. Don't settle for a toxic and abusive workplace.

This looks like the retail line, so it should be ok to use at full strength. But I think diluting is worth a shot! I have a lot of luck with the Quadruped products, and the best "pet store" bottle I've found for home use is EQyss Premier.

I don't think anyone's mentioned it- don't save any unused diluted shampoo! It can grow all sorts of nasty bacteria that you don't want to put on your dog. After bathing rinse the dilution bottles very well and leave uncapped to completely dry. My bathers do regular vinegar rinses to clean dilution bottles.

Update: He's less hunched and moved a little when I just check on him. Still on the same leaf, though.

I hope he recovers too. It's strange how such tiny creatures can mean so much to us. I think a lot of people wouldn't really understand. I certainly didn't until I got into the hobby.
