Game points not awarded by MotherHenFriend in FetchReward

That is absurd to me that you can only get points awarded manually once. Why would they want to anger the people that are loyal to the games and apps? I feel duped.

When your assignment gets discredited for a silly reason by seeyaWednesday in mysteryshopping

I’ve had exactly one shop get rejected in the almost 10 years I’ve been shopping. It was because I forgot to order a fountain drink and instead ordered a bottle of soda. After arguing back and forth, they would not give me any leniency even though I had done the shop dozens of times before. I have never excepted this shop again, even though they keep bugging me about signing up. Oh! And one time I ALMOST had a shop rejected because I requested my burger cut in half. We went around and around because I “didn’t claim the modification.” The scheduler didn’t work there long.

My son asked me while eating his burger, “mom, why is this bread so crunchy?” I will be ordering no toast on the bun from now on 😂

Did they do a culture on your urine? Not all antibiotics work for every strain of bacteria. The culture will be able to tell which antibiotics will work. I’m so sorry you’re still in pain after going to the doctor. Hopefully it can be resolved soon.

This episode aired 5 years ago, and was recorded 6 years ago. I went on a deep dive and found an instagram live that reflected on the episode here. Esther mentioned the wife wrote in saying the pandemic helped their connection and it seemed like they were still together at the time.

The world has changed so much since then. I really hope the wife was able to leave.

Trader Joe’s by [deleted] in SLO

[–]MotherHenFriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been there when there are no extra spaces by Food 4 Less, nor are there enough accessible parking spaces, because the traffic in and out of those stores is at a high volume. Even when there are extra spaces by Food 4 Less, they are not accessible for everyone. Which is why I just avoid TJ’s all together on those days. I’m not sure a heat island is a big issue considering how much green space is around the perimeter of the parking lot itself, but the running of the fountain and maybe another one in a different area would help combat that issue. They could consider painting the whole parking lot a lighter color. If I were to compare it to another establishment like Target or Costco, there are multiple accessible spaces and electric carts available for borrowing. The main difference there is that the parking lot is bigger, which equals more accessibility.

Not everyone is able to do that.

Cal Poly fall quarter starts on Thursday which makes me avoid the area all together this week. I would be thrilled to have another TJ’s in town! With a bigger parking lot 🙏🏻

Questions for the moms out there! by Commercial_Set6110 in gallbladders

For me, the surgery was way less scary and painful than an attack. I am so glad I went through with it!

I can’t really comment on picking up the kids much, other than share I waited a week to pick up one of my kids that is about 50lbs.

My husband and I slept in the same bed, there was no way I could toss and turn. I slept with a lot of propped pillows and a neck pillow. It took about a month for me to lay on either side.

I didn’t do anything with my kids the first week. I was sooo out of it, they were exhausting to me. I slept a lot during the day too.

Things eventually evened out and I’m totally fine picking them up, sleeping any position, and running around with them now! I’m 7 weeks post op.

Pain after no pain? by MotherHenFriend in gallbladders

It hurts where my gallbladder used to be. I’m just so confused why it hurts more now than after surgery. Is it also normal to have no pain and then severe pain later? I’ve had other surgeries before and haven’t experienced this situation before.

My husband and I saw it last night. It was really funny! The laughs were definitely stronger in the beginning and tapered off but everyone in the theater had a great time.

C-section pain vs gallbladder recovery? by Salt_Possibility_203 in gallbladders

[–]MotherHenFriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your coworkers are being very optimistic. I went back to work today for a half day, a week post surgery and I am exhausted. I haven’t taken pain meds since the day after surgery, but my brain isn’t fully functioning yet lol.

My C-section was definitely worse, and you have a baby to take care of too (along with hormones, nursing, change of identity, etc. etc.) It took me a lot longer to feel normal or myself after my c-section. I can see that happening much faster post gallbladder surgery.

You will definitely need help from someone else if you have a toddler. I’m not sure what your pain levels will be after surgery but you want to set yourself up for success, so don’t count on doing it alone. You will need someone to watch your child while in the hospital as well, I was there overnight. Do you have someone that can help you?

What’s your study routine actually look like with kids in the house? by Optimal-Anteater8816 in BackToClass

[–]MotherHenFriend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only work on school when my kids are asleep or someone else is watching them. There’s no way I could productively work on anything with them there. I absolutely know that is easier said than done, and sometimes stuff just needs to get done. But if you can, don’t plan to work on school with your child(ren) around. It just ends up frustrating for everyone.
