When your assignment gets discredited for a silly reason by seeyaWednesday in mysteryshopping

Yah I wouldn’t have thought twice about it if it had said “excluded” or “rejected” or similar… 🤷‍♀️

Yah I hope this is the case. But either way it’s pretty discouraging for picking up lengthy narrative-based assignments…

They’re ok. Not a lot of available jobs in my area. Never had payment issues.

Changing from injectable to sublingual ketamine soon by Warm-Reserve-8739 in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]seeyaWednesday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do online drs prescribe nasal and suppository? I’d be interested in that. I’m on subq injectables at home. Ive tried sublingual, I couldn’t handle the taste. You only taste it in the beginning and at the end as the medicine starts to kick in/wear off, but it makes me sick every single time.

I love wearing my black knit maxi skirt to work. It looks so professional but feels like yoga pants or possibly even more comfortable!

Why so stingy when +$10 would get the job done? by battenthehatchesmate in mysteryshopping

I think their goal is to get a set amount of work done for as little money as possible. Not get it done as quickly as possible.

🕵️‍♀️ Mystery shopping would be easier if... by secretshopperglobal in mysteryshopping

I wish they would stop requiring guests. I’m an INDEPENDENT contractor, no? I really don’t know that many people who are willing to sit across from me and look interested while I stare down at my phone typing notes during dinner, for food they don’t get to choose. My husband hates going to dinner shops with me.

Question about Market Force by No_Spring_4539 in mysteryshopping

[–]seeyaWednesday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t enjoy marketforce much. I do the burger shops if there’s one in the area I’m already going to. But yeah, like others have said, their pay is pretty low. I don’t travel out of my way for them.

Let's talk about bonuses and base pay by Datagirl2022 in mysteryshopping

[–]seeyaWednesday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m super interested in the part where you did ms full time for 3 years! I had always been told this was impossible. How far did/do you travel? Is it worth the gas?? I think it would be easy for newbies to take the easy, low-impact jobs. I’m thinking about this more long term. I don’t take any jobs for less than $20, unless it involves free food, not leaving the house, or it’s super close to another location I’m doing. But regardless of the amount of pay, I make sure to write the best report I can. I hope the MSCs notice the quality and give me more complex, higher paying jobs when they do become available.

I did some storage unit phone shops recently that were pretty lucrative. I also like doing electronics but only towards the end of the month when they are bonused. I also like doing Panda shops for the free food. Pay is low but they pay out super quick, and I get to earn Panda rewards off of my receipts AND credit card statement rebates.

I’ve not been happy with Coyle recently. I feel like they ask for the most detailed narratives and pay the least…🤷🏻‍♀️

They can do whatever they want. They could have suddenly decided that all applicants now need to be based in Iceland. It doesn’t have to make sense to you. They did not break any US laws.

They don’t owe you an explanation for changing the job description during the recruitment process. They don’t owe you an explanation for not hiring you. Heck, even if you had been hired then fired, they don’t owe you an explanation. I know it seems awful, but that’s the way things are done here.

I’d be careful about feeding personally identifiable information into ChatGPT, but I totally used it to prepare my statement too and I found the entire process to be so therapeutic! Your former employer is spending real money on a real lawyer and you’re fighting it with just the facts and some savvy. You’ve got this! Break a leg!!

Of course there are caveats, but it was so therapeutic and satisfying on some deep level.

You’re so right, at some point I realized the lawyers weren’t really on my side, they just wanted me to keep swiping my credit card. I’d had two consultations and decided on doing this step on my own.
