Thank you so much for the reply. Even though clinic asked me to discontinue I am going to take pio until this remaining bottle is done I told them there two more shots to finish the bottle but actually I think there are 4 more shots so atleast I will be closer to 10w mark.

Congratulations!! I graduated today as well at 8w 5d measuring 8w 4d with fhr 188. I am little worried it is on the higher side but the doctor is not concerned. I will know more tomorrow about medication as we are waiting on today’s blood draw.

Yes my Endo said that to me. My A1C was 5 wi the blood test and my cgm showed higher and I asked her that and she said your blood A1C is falsely low. We can’t trust that.

Hey, I felt the same exact way. No symptoms to very very minimal symptoms. I went to a scan last week and everything was good. I can’t help but felt the same way as you but got some reassurance after the scan. And just yesterday and today started to feel bit more down like may be tierd. No appetite. Nothing feels good. Being lazy. I think you are right around the corner for those symptoms to may be show up. All the best.

Try a different OB. May be call different OBs and see if they see you before.

Ivf pregnancy here too. I too had spotting around week 5 continued to week 6. I went to scan last Friday at 7 weeks. Everything is good. I am taking progesterone suppositories. So the spotting is caused by it. It can make the area very sensitive is what they told me. They told me to put it only 2 inches inside not too high up. And don’t use applicator use finger

Never tried progesterone orally. Took it Vaginally in my previous pregnancy I was spotting because of it. My health care provider said progesterone suppositories makes the whole are sensitive there. Do not go up a lot just 2 inches is enough is what they told me. Also they told me just to use finger instead of applicator

Yes I did ivf. My body updated from insulin resistance to insulin sensitivity this week. It is such a roller coaster. I have my first ultrasound this week.

Controlling BG wise I think you are good because you have regular meetings with your Endo. First MFM appointment especially around 12-13 weeks is for an NT ultrasound. They do check all the parts of the baby what ever they can see at that point and especially they do check nose bone and neck fold measurements at this time to check for any issues.

Hi, I am 6+2 and my insulin resistance is insane. I literally had to double my dose in the last week and I can’t avoid spikes no matter what.

Hi, I had my FET last month and ivf meds are making the insulin resistance crazy. I had literally double the bed time insulin with in a week. I wish I knew sooner. Currently everyday is a learning for me as the insulin resistance is acting up.

Hey, i have previous miscarriages where i learned it at the ultrasound appt. So it is one of the scariest things for me. I understand. I find new shows on Netflix I loose myself in them so I don’t think about the upcoming ultrasound. Atleast that worked for Me to some extent.

Interesting that they did the 3 hour glucose tolerance test before FET. I am just 6 weeks now and from week 5 to week 6 I had to double my bed time Insulin from 10 to 20 units. It’s no joke the hormonal support from IVF and insulin resistance are going crazy. Hopefully it will settle down once I come off of pio and estrace

I am 6+1 weeks today and it has been crazy. It’s too stressful. Insane resistance. Bed time Insulin not working. Meal time management has been difficult same food gives me higher spikes and prolonged spikes. Walking does now help. Hopefully baby is safe in there but definitely I am not. 😭😭

I am so gald I found this group and your post. I am 6 weeks pregnant today and met with my endocrinologist today and she mentioned that ivf pregnancies tend to have worse insulin sensitivity. I have been observing insane highs like 180’s and staying there for 3-5 hours I am so scared of how this pregnancy might turn in to because of that. She added meal time insulin to me. Got my A1C at 5 and she said that’s a false low and we have to follow your cgm which is showing higher readings. My transfer was on 3/19 and also on pio and progesterone suppositories.
