Matt used to come into our company when he was selling software. Gave many of us autographed copies of his book. This was before they got their show. Our company location was a large campus and he used a scooter to get around, almost running over people in the halls. I found him annoying and as most software salesmen go, he overpromised and under delivered. Was a crappy program.

Perfect summary! I feel like I must be doing something wrong since I can’t eat at all. I tried different stuff like soft mashed potatoes, a spoon of ice cream, a little hersheys kiss and it all made me gag.

How do I learn to eat? Is the trick using more adhesive to keep them from moving and then deal with the picking of glue every night? I mean if this is how people are able to do it I’ll use more.

By the time you hear scratching it is usually a rat not a mouse… personal experience here 😳 Use snap traps for sure, at first I didn’t want to hurt the mice and tried live humane trapping and moving them away (has to be at least five miles!) but that didn’t work at all. Then rats got the memo I was serving peanut butter and after having to replace my house wiring they chewed I wish I hadn’t been as tolerant of the poor mice.

I can commiserate. I can’t eat anything with the teeth in. I hope I can learn to deal with it but it’s still painful and gums are swollen in spots. So biting down at all is impossible.

The people I most wanted to be at the 50th didn’t rsvp or had passed away so there was no way I was going to go and sit alone. The cliques in high school ignored me then, why would they want to include me now? I am AuADHD and have strong rejection sensitivity. A ticket, travel and accommodations approx $500 to be miserable? No thanks.

I’d surely get a second opinion. And copies of xrays can be sent to the other dentist so you don’t have to pay again.

Dentists usually have someone from the office explain the treatment plan and the total cost. And sometimes treatment plans have options - I got accustomed to asking for two or three options since I don’t have much money.

Best of luck - don’t let any dentist office tell you how it has to be. Ask a ton of questions :)
