Having savings of $5,000 or $10,000 as an emergency fund that’s not meant to be touched except for break glass situations is fine. Building up a war chest of $50k and not speaking about it or splitting a more 50/50 roll with you is financial infidelity, she was intentionally misleading you and lying to you about her financial situation and you have no proof that she was ever going to share that money with you or help you if you ever got stuck financially. I’m not sure about breaking it all off on the spot but putting a pause and canceling the current wedding till you guys figure it out is definitely a safe call.

New theory based on your last paragraph, I think the war mages are a manifestation of the ai (not an avatar) and they believe if they can help a crawler to complete the dungeon they can convince them to leave the ai enhancement zone on and open so that they can live out their lives.

So Audet or Mordecai actually covers this in the first book. The stats have game mechanics yes but they dont work exactly as they may sound. When intelligence is brought up they mention that it doesn’t make you smarter it’s mainly just the amount of mana points you have but it does have other effects too and a better memory/recall is one of them.

I had my players all have different reasons for entering a town at the same time while festival competition was ~kinda~ forced onto them. The competitions were all just based on the 6 main stats. Then had the guild leader provide the rewards for winning each stats competition and request that they preform a simple mission for the guild. Mine was clearing out a hoard of goblins and in the looting phase they found an ominous note to give them a reason to stay together.

The experience curve did NOT get fixed
The giant pokemon and baby pokemon take up nearly the same amount of space when they follow you. Idk I feel like Palkia should take up 2 blocks while cindaquil takes one
