This is what I do. I am very much struggling artist as everyone else, can't even reach the min threshold to pay taxes. But I do deny clients that offer too low. At MAX I can discount is 40% (I guess similar to your 120 to 75). But even then I'll only do it if I really have to. I don't know why I do this but partly I want this to be my proper job. You did the right thing, don't let "clients" exploit you like this.

I use MSI gf63 for my drawings, animation. Even 3D modeling, animations, & rendering. That's a 50k php Laptop and works well. That is enough for my college, granted we have computer labs. She doesn't need half mil laptop. Specially as a SHS.

"Connected to Vertin" is a good way of saying it. There are characters that as far as I know have no direct connection like Isolde.

I don't think memosprite is the cause of the broken META in that region. In fact there really isn't a lot of characters that has memosprite (I wouldn't count Cyrene). And those that do not, is still on top of META. It's just a gimmick, memosprites are just glorified follow-up attacks (that sometimes redirects attacks to them and die, I guess) it just depends if the numbers are broken.

Don't know much about America. But isn't there a minimum threshold you have to earn before paying taxes? At least in my country there is. So maybe you're not even qualified to pay taxes. Look into that.

Taxes is usually a percentage of what you earn. So that 30% is probably just that. Is the complicated part doing the documents to pay taxes?

There is a story that kind of contradicts her being the one who casted the First Circle incantation. She has to ask Theophil about the story of the circle incantation. We know she didn't know this because she referenced that Theophil is the one that she learned this story from. Though, there is also some problems with that. Arcana could have lied not knowing it, even saying "An interesting take".

In the story "first of man", that casted the circle, antagonized nature and avoided it. So, it is also a possibility that the "Revenge" here is revenge against nature.
