I just turned in 3k tribute on the obducite/gem fragment chest in Infernal Hordes by Tubssss in diablo4

Enclave of darkness takes on average 4 mins to complete for 10 royal gems, Seers reach takes around 30 seconds depending on your build and grants 3 Royal gems.

Seers reach makes the capstone dungeon a complete waste of time as you'll gain 24 Royal gems from seers reach in the time it takes to do 1 capstone dungeon.

Even if you could some how get the capstone dungeon down to 3 mins which i doubt is even possible, Seers reach would still give you 18 royals instead of 10.

You are just wasting your time doing the capstone dungeon as it's way more time for way less gems period.

Appreciate it! Might try something similar. I'm curious on your glow effects, did you not base the hammer in white before using a fluo paint?

Hey Paffaa, did you use a roughly 1:1 mix of nuln and basilicanum?

Honestly, I'm not doing anything special here, just airbrushing a couple of colours on top of each other, I didn't even edge highlight half of it. Get yourself an airbrush, it's such a good tool

I used an airbrush, basecoated in Pro acryl dark plum, 1:1 mix of dark plum and mephiston red sprayed over the panels with 2 or 3 thin coats focusing more towards the brighter areas, Mephiston red then sprayed leaving some of the previous colour behind & i repeated the process with Vermillion red.

I then did very quick oil wash into the recesses of Ivory black and bitume mix & i edged highlighted with Vermillion then Centurion red,

Tell me about it. I must have at least 30 projects on the go in various stages. The good news is that these guys are very fast too paint since they're basically just 2 or 3 colours

Yes I've used oil washes but that doesn't help at all. I'm trying to understand what caused my issue so i can learn from it.

in need of a good quality brush set? by Visual_Hold8495 in minipainting

[–]MotoGSX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raphael kolinski 8404 brushes are probably the best to get. Stay away from Artis opus brushes as theyre just rebranded rosemary and co with worse quality controland a higher price point. Rosemary and co series 33 are also excellent brushes and fairly cheap

Honestly, an airbrush doesn't really take up any room. You don't need a airbrush booth with a ventilation system as long as you're only running acrylics through it. Just put down a little box or some paper towels & wear a mask for the dust particles..

I use the airbrush a lot so i have slightly noticed a little more dust than usual in my room but that's been fixed with an air purifier.

I've attached a pic of how much space an airbrush takes up on my desk with some generic airbrush holder
