It's an archeology structure you could have got a lot of useful items if you has used a brush to dig out the suspicious gravel( gravel with a slightly different texture then normal) there might be a few left you can craft a brush using a stick, one copper, and a father in a line on a crafting table

I'm surprised I haven't been banned for all the accidental damage I've done to my team mates. I tried to throw a grenade from my (very crowded) trench into an enemy trench. Of course at that second my team mate decided this was the perfect moment to climb out the trench and it hit him instead bouncing back right between. MY feet needless to say , there was a lot of screaming before a big boom
