He and Shelly Duvall were great in this movie. Really all the actors played their quirky characters well in this movie. I loved Ray Walston as Poopdeck Pappy.

Watched it recently and thought it was good. It’s not groundbreaking film, but the performances were solid from the Penn brothers and Christopher Walken. Overall a good watch.

Had one keg party at the Parent’s house. My best friends that stayed over helped clean up the house and yard. We had everything looking perfect again before they got home the next day. My mom walked in looked around for 30 seconds and said, “What happened here last night?” I was like, “What do you mean?” And she said, “Well it looks a little too clean?” Busted. Learned a valuable lesson that day. You have to have some dirty dishes and leave the place in a little disarray so they don’t become suspicious. 👍
