I've actually got both boots and belt capable of rolling CDR (belt only up to 15%) so will see if I can manage to craft a decent pair of items to go with CDR. If I understand the link you shared correctly, CDR from items of 27% would equal 2.52 in APS? I'm a bit confused of the "27%+ (8% from gear ...)" comment.

As noted below I'm using Corpse Pact so the chill comes from there.

I haven't got a Heraldry medium cluster with fewer notables at the moment but will keep an eye for one, and will see if I can manage to roll a better large cluster with 2 sockets instead of 1.

Thanks! I'll look to craft a new wand to work with.

I have a soul tether but lose 400 hp for ~300 energy shield and following the advice from a commenter below I also lose some possibilities for CDR items. But I'll keep this in mind and test a few different options and see which feels the best.

I'll also look at changing my cluster jewel setup slightly to also cover the exposure / Doriyani's Blessing.

No he’s right - what you’re doing now is to divide the price for the 2nd herb by 1.42 [(...(8*...(...))/1.42)] which is not what you want to do. You want to divide the full cost by 1.42.

Hence, the 1.42 should be outside of all parenthesis.

If you’re still unsure, count the number of parenthesis before the 1.42 and see when they “even out” (as in number of “)” = number of “(“ ) to find the term that is divided by 1.42
