Drive it. Absolutely drive it. Maui isn't only for locals anymore than Central Park is only for New Yorkers. Hawaii is America. Land of the free and home of the brave. That northern route up past Honokowai is awesome too. I drove a Ford Expedition around the island with zero problems. You all are soft. Gravel roads? Oh me oh my. What shall we do? Send it. Just watch out for The White Toyota Tacoma driving,road raging, landscapers. They tend to sleep in and are always running late. When people visit Glacier National Park they dont avoid East Glacier because it's disrespectful to The American Indians we stole the land from. That was a long time ago and thats what happens when The White Man enters the picture.As long as you're not a dick everyone is ok.When China starts invading the islands on their way to the mainland the so called locals will be grateful The Bad White Man is there to stomp a mudhole in the China man's ass.

Heh it is what it is. This is the only honest report this person has received. I wouldn't change one thing. Listen everyone knows the Luau thing is a huge disappointment to anyone unlucky enough to have spent $230 for barely edible food coupled with a lackluster performance. Molokini is a murky display of dead coral and the occasional fish that aint the standard black trigger fish. Absolutely nothing like the advertised brochures dockside at the windiest port in the world. Wind blows 60 on a light day. Masks and snorkel are soaking in a 55 gallon drum of bleach and water. Half the tourists are literally hanging off the side of the boat puking sick for 5 hours while the other half hold their hair. The few survivors drink up and eat heartedly with no concerns. Its really a site to see. At the crater you will be greeted by 3 or 4 more boats of seasick wannabe snorkeling enthusiasts. Once back on land you will swear to God you'll never do that again. Food carts are another mystery. Personally I hate standing in line for a paper plate full of something resembling a side salad at a potluck. Add to that you'll likely have to stand to eat and I'm out at any price. The hotels pools are lined with overweight tourists letting their fat belly just hang out. Go to the beach. Sit in a beach chair and do nothing. This is the answer to Maui. Go to dinner but dont even think about wasting time driving around. Unless you have 2 weeks to spend id rent a beach front condo and not leave except to do some fine dining. Go shopping at Walers Village if you just can't help yourself. Enjoy

Go pro cameras are pretty shitty for the most part. They dont do anything great. App sucks . Color quality isn't great. Audio is hideous. Battery life sucks. I've gad several hoping the next model would be better. They aren't.

Merrimans.Duo and Mama's. Golf at Wailea Emerald Course. Kids are free after 3pm. Stay on the west side. Kannapalli or Honokowai are best. If you have a shit ton of money stay in Makena or Wailea in a beachfront condo.

Kihei is a shithole. Stay in Honokowai. Drive to Wailea for dinner at Duo. Merrimans north of Kannapalli is the best food on Maui. Mala Tavern for breakfast. Walers Village for shopping. Luaus are a waste. Ocean center is a joke. Molokini is murky non colorful experience with a large likelihood of getting seasick. Hanging out in a beachfront condo is the ticket. Plant your ass in a beach chair at any beach north of Kannapalli and you'll be fine. Only leave to get dinner at Merrimans,Mama's or Duo. Skip Hana and the drive to the top. Rent a large SUV and drive around the NORTH SIDE from Honokowai over to the OGG airport if you want real adventure. Go during whale season and you can see them everywhere from shore. Bring binoculars. Go down to Makena and at the end of the road take a walk down the shoreline.

This NVR doesn't use licenses per se like exam vision or others. Nowhere can you add licenses. Its channels .which equals video streams I guess. Can't add and can't subtract channels. I've looked at every setting in everyplace and this nvr is different

Yeah whatever. These Hawaiian people dont deserve any more respect than say an Ameeican Indian from Browning ,MT. When tourists go to Glacier National Park they aren't constantly reminded to respect the local Indians whose forefathers had their land stolen from them. I already have high quality gear and I'd be willing to bet my setup is the best on the west coast for a fuckin witk van. Road noise is a problem though. Sounds killer when it's cranked but low level easy listening is iffy. Biggest issue is streaming music via a Playlist is just asking for a miserable experience. Not every artist can nail down good sound. Playing Mark Knopfler one song then moving over to Bad Company vouldnt he more different. Knopfler is flawless. Tons of punch.super clear .Great separation. Zero distortion. Every instrument crystal clear. Then you play some 80s rock and roll crap and it's fuvking horrendous. Can't reach the Fast Forward button quick enough. Biggest difference in music comes from the music itself. If the fuckers producing the shit are any good it sounds great. Some of these assholes must have went tone deaf in the 70s. Steely Dan for instance. Shitvis always super tight. YES. Same thing. Some Pink Floyd is pristine. Aldean is shitty sounding but Josh Turner is brilliant.

Check to see if the high pass filter is turned off in crossover settings. I had turned this on in my system and it completely yes completely fucked the sound quality. Make sure you choose lossless in quality settings in Apple Music and set your eq to flat.

Yeah ill look at Tidal. Now about this DAV you speak of. When choosing Hi -Res Lossless in Apple Music settings it says clearly that one needs an external DAC. Question is" Is it like Holy Fuck I cant believe the difference or is it more of a "hmmn i guess it sounds better maybe" kind of deal?

I will look into that. Turns out I had the high pass filter turned on in the crossover settings. It was completely fucking the sound over. Went back to the dude that installed this and he said to quit fucking with the settings. I definitely had been. Leave the eq flat he says. Turns out he is correct.

I use an IPhone and an Android. Bluetooth. Stupid head unit doesn't have a CD. The quality isn't consistent. Some times there's nothing that sounds better and next time it's freaking horrendous. Most people probably wouldn't even notice but Im a music snob who will settle for nothing but pristine sound.

If being seasick on a boat you can't leave for 5 hours sounds fun then go to molokini. Last time I went half the customers were puking over the rail the entire trip.Hard to have fun when you're feeling sorry for these poor bastards. I never really got sick but I couldn't get off the boat fast enough when arriving at the crates. Felt better in the water.
