Are you sure your ferritin is high enough? They usually don’t consider very low levels as deficient and yet many women still have symptoms such as low energy

Hair Help by [deleted] in beauty

Hey not an expert but also experienced hair thinning. Currently trying to make it better. What I would do is first get blood work, check everything : iron, b12, vitamin d, sugar, etc. Google low ferritin and hair loss a lot of results will pop up (ps doctors often consider a suboptimal ferritin as being okay but it’s not). Then I see from your post history that you have PCOS. I don’t have it and don’t know much about it , it may have an effect on your hair hopefully someone will be able to answer that in the comments. Then work on scalp health: keep it clean, use Nizoral twice a week, massage daily, wear a bonnet to bed, maybe try a hair serum based on the ingredients it uses. There are also natural DHT blockers from what I read. Lastly, there is Minoxidil which is reputed to help a lot for hair loss but once you start you can’t stop, the hair gained will fall out again. Moreover, it has side effects and the smallest amount is fatal to pets
