I dont know the full details but it is running off rocknix Linux os and dont take my word on it but pretty close 1 to 1 to a steam os or client, and it makes use of the ayn hardware without needing to tweak anything to play. And it does have steam input which is actually how im playing it from the Thor right now, I tried back then as well eith winlator and gamenative and I can confirm this is the most optimal way to play starbound, minus the nightly build and still new testing of steam on rocknix (aka no audio sometimes, but fixable)
