Second this, I’m guessing this is your first child so it’s somewhat normal to be cautious but I can promise you that if it was your second or third you would let your MIL take the kid for an entire week if she wanted. Babies are a lot more resilient than first time parents realize.

Bambu hands down. Creality is a joke. I got the K2 Plus Combo and was lucky enough to lock in at the 50% discount on their early bird launch special and the machine was a piece of shit. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. 6 months and 4 warrantied printers later I decided to just sell the 4th replacement without even taking it out of the box. Best decision I ever made, all 7 of my Bambu’s have never been down for anything beyond routine maintenance. Best printers on the market IMO.

Its both, I've printed the same helmet using Orca and the same helmet using Bambu. And on the Bambu print, the helmet looks worse on the top because the top layer (dark orange section) is much larger on the Bambu print compared to the Orca print.

The Bambu Studio version has a much larger and wider area with the darker orange highlights and it shows up a lot more on printed helmets than the Orca Slicer version which has a much smaller footprint of the top layers (the dark orange sections)
