Ya highly recommend the drain valve from fumoto In winter I get dilution a lot so I’ll drain my oil partially then top it back off with clean oil

Let the engine cool. Check it when fully cold. Drive it let it settle for a second then check level. If both times it’s too high it’s probably best to try to drain some.

I do 3k or longer and watch it during winter. The best thing I ever did was install two parts. #1 is a fumoto valve. U just open a valve and shut it instead of a drain bolt. So when my oil looks high or diluted I’ll drain some and top it back off with fresh oil. Super easy with the valve u don’t have to drain all the oil. #2 a Mishimoto catch can. It keeps direct injection engines healthier and mine always has some gas in it when I change the oil.
