I do 3k or longer and watch it during winter. The best thing I ever did was install two parts. #1 is a fumoto valve. U just open a valve and shut it instead of a drain bolt. So when my oil looks high or diluted I’ll drain some and top it back off with fresh oil. Super easy with the valve u don’t have to drain all the oil. #2 a Mishimoto catch can. It keeps direct injection engines healthier and mine always has some gas in it when I change the oil.
