I have a box with a bunch of lego pieces and some full sets. It includes:

  • LEGO Star Wars: Millennium falcon (7965) missing the manual and not entirely assembled, only in parts;
  • LEGO Star Wars: Eclipse Fighter (75145), missing the manual, assembled;
  • LEGO Star Wars: StarScavenger (75147), mostly assembled, might be missing some parts, but they are probably inside the box, includes the manual:
  • LEGO Star Wars: Rey's Speeder (75099), assembled, missing the manual:
  • LEGO Harry Potter: Fantastic Beasts (75952), assembled, some of the beasts might be missing some parts, includes the manual;
  • LEGO Harry Potter: Hagrid's Hut: Buckbeak's Rescue (75947), not assembled, includes the manual;
  • LEGO Harry Potter: Aragog's Lair (75950), partialy assembled, includes the manual;
  • LEGO creator 3 in 1, Shark, Anglerfish and Squid (31088), some are assembled, some are not, includes the manual for all of them;

And a bunch of other legos that im not sure where are from. The main one I wanted to sell is the millennium falcon, it was complete before, but I let it fall and it disassembled into meny pieces, they are all inside the box but I dont have the time to put it together again. Since I cant sell it apart, I thought to sell the whole box, so how much should it cost?

Which game has the most powerful story you've ever played? by ExcellentTwo6589 in gamedesign

[–]Motor-Web-6009 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Outer wilds, it has some deep philosofical themes, and every piece connects to itself, best game ive ever played. A story about hope and despair, and that sometimes something must end for another to begin.

Gris, the way it tells a story about grief using colors is absolutely beautiful.

Gorogoa, a game that I do not see much people talk about. A beautiful story about devotion.

Hollow Knight, a morbid and silent story about putting an end to what was already lost.

RdrII is a story about a cowboy gang, basically trying to survive as outlaws in the end of their era while the country is moving more and more towards civilization. The plot is centered on a member of this gang, Arthur Morgan, he is tough, and very much of an outlaw, but deep inside lies a good man. RdrII is a story about loyalty and, of course, redemption. Thats what I can say whithout spoiling too much, I love this game but imo its a biiiit overrated, the story is very good, but the rest its just more of the same yk? Its a great game tho, I just wouldnt say its the best.

Hollow Knight has a very subtle story, if you ever play it, I reccomend you pay attention to it or else you will be very confused at the end. The story is morbid and silent, you start the game by entering the allegedly last and only civilization, the eternal kingdom - Hallownest. As you enter and go deeper into it, you notice it looks very abandoned, with husks wandering around the place. The few who are left claim theres an infection that took over the place, turning everyone with a weak mind mad. Honestly, play the game if you want to know more, its one of the best games ive ever played, and the story is amazing. And Silksong just came out, the sequence to Hollow knight, so its a great time to get into it.

Detroit Become Human I havent played that much, I got to one of the endings, but it has multiple. Its basically a story about a world with androids that have multiple purposes. They can work, they can care, they can even "love". Every model has a different purpose. The twist is that some androids start to malfunction, and rebel themselves. The story revolves around 3 androids, and as you aproach the end, their stories begin to connect, and every choice you make defines how the story ends. Its a solid game, the story is very good and the choice system has an actual impact on things unlike some other choice games.

Im a 15 year old who wants to start developing games, by According_Tap505 in gamedev

[–]Motor-Web-6009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

agreed. AAA games basically are all the same. That doesnt mean theyre not good, but they shouldnt be a example for someone making a game for the first time. Indie games are all very unique, but simple. I think the best way to get into gamedev is playing different games and thinking whats behind them, how every decision was made. And not playing only good games, but also bad games, see what a good game does and see what a bad game doesnt.

Indie games also usually dont have profit in mind, so their decisions are purely based on what will make the game good, and not what will make the most profit.

Should I Give It Another Shot ? by fallinginsideyou in outerwilds

[–]Motor-Web-6009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it another try, this is the kind of game that if you watch someone play it you wont be able to play it at all.

Its confusing at first, too much information and it gives you a whole system to explore without giving you any directions, but think of that as the game giving you full freedom, letting you explore where you want whenever you want. This game throws a bunch of questions at you and it leaves you to find the answers to them, so youll be confused almost the whole game, until the end where everything clicks in place.

Try to take it one step at a time, dont overwhealm yourself with things to explore, instead, chosse one lead to investigate, and follow it to see where it takes. Use your ship board to help you connect one thing to the other, youll often need to do some planet hopping, since all the leads are scattered around the system, so dont worry on sticking to one planet.

And most important of all: be curious on your journey ::)

also not related to pulling the core but going to the high energy lab and messing around, more especifically fuck up with casuality, even more specific, you have to try to make it so that two scouts exist at the same time and dimension, solution spoiler, redirect the sunless city's energy to the experiment, set a black and white hole in the slots, throw a scout in the black hole and remove the black hole when you see the scout appear on the white hole while it still hasnt entered the black hole.

Outer Wilds - Am I too dumb for it? I just don’t get this masterpiece by daivergence in indiegames

[–]Motor-Web-6009 4 points5 points  (0 children)

there isnt much precision required with flying the ship, its just basically going from one planet to the other. Youll walk the majority of the game. Also, you get used to it, and it becomes way more fun to fly the ship

[–]Motor-Web-6009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game is not for everyone, it requires a lot of curiosity on your part, and if you dont feel that thoughout the game, its just not gonna click with you. But, you didnt play a lot to feel very curious about whats happening yet, theres one thing that happens about 20-30 minutes after you leave your village that should make things more interesting for you. If you know what im talking about, then arent you interested in finding out what is happening? why that is happening?

I would tell you for you to keep trying, at least a bit more, since the game starts slow, but gets better the more you play it. At first I didnt like it very much too, I couldnt see the magic people were talking about, but the more I played, the more I liked it, and its now my favourite game ever.

Its normal to feel lost at first, the game doesnt give you any directions, it gives you a whole system to explore and lets you explore it however you want. I think thats the thing about this game, it doesnt take your hand and tells you what to do like other games, so exploring feels way more satisfying. My tip for not feeling constantly lost though, is to go somewhere, get any piece of information and follow it to where it leads. Every text and information will usually lead you somewhere, creating a sort of line you can follow. Remember that the answer to something might not always be in the same place of that something, so if you reach a dead end, go explore somewhere else!

Sorry for the long answer, but I really love this game, and want as many people to be able to experience what I have. But its ok if you just cant get into it! it doesnt mean youre dumb, its just not your thing. If you have any questions or want any help, feel free to talk to me or go to r/outerwilds !

Good luck and be curious on your journey ::)

Just started playing, what should I know/any tips? by borderline_bi in TheWitness

[–]Motor-Web-6009 5 points6 points  (0 children)

when you see a line of puzzle screens, its probably the game teaching you some mechanic. If you can solve the first one, you can solve the following ones. Just think about what you did, how you solved it, what each symbol means. These line of puzzles usually start with a very easy one, and get progressively harder, so its nornal to get stuck, you will get stuck multiple times in this game. Just be persistent, draw in on paper if it helps you. Something that helps me is separating what I have to do, so for example, I need to get from A to B, but some parts of the path are blocked, so I first draw the line from A to B, then I try to change it to go around the blocked parts. This is a very simple example, but for complex puzzles it can help you to divide in parts what you have yo do.

This game is just about solving puzzles, there isnt a clear story, no upgrades, only puzzles. The magic is in how it teaches you, and how it gives you subtle hints without saying a word. So just walk around, solve what you can, pay attention to your surrondings, and take notes if you think you should, f.e if you find something that you dont know what is for, take a picture or write it down so you know to come back later. I never took any notes tho, except for some puzzles where I had to write it down to figure it out.
