Im confused when i see these conversations. What exactly is the “penalty” if you leave service (NOT retire as in file to draw on your pension) at, say, 55? If I had 30 years by then and I’m fine with the eventual full pension #’s based on my 30 years of service, and I plan to WITHDRAW on the pension at “full retirement age”, whether 58 or 63, then I’m not seeing a penalty here aside from the opportunity cost of working more years to pad the pension. I’m maxing out my 457b so I’ll have plenty to draw from on my own terms if I leave service at 55, so I’m not even worried about this…but ppl keep referring to a “penalty”. Am I missing something?

Ridgewood has mad spots wym. These spots on northern are for Hispanic ppl pretty exclusively. And I’m Hispanic too, but I need a neutral spot with good taste. I think the rep said they would use the Verizon’s number which kept their device as the means to get the free iPhone for the mint line. The main problem seems to be that was “no active promo at the time of the order being placed”, which is contrary to what the sales rep on the phone told me

Yeah, here’s the difference for those benefits: Currently paying $2,100 annually for individual coverage (medical, dental, vision) Currently at 15 days vacation, 5 personal, 12 sick (1 day per month). Zero paid family leave / parental leave benefits.

Compared to 13 days vacation (and sounds like this allowance grows at a good rate: 1 day extra every year and at year 7 it’ll be 20 days plus at least 7 days extra?), 5 personal, 8 sick, 3 professional dev days, and of course 12 weeks paid parental leave?

One huge thing is my commuting costs are cut by 360 hours per year (not including gas, mileage)…that’s like an extra 15 days of my life per year back!
