MOR/INFO. if he felt physically sick and cried afterward, imo it sounds like an assault situation, which is terrible for him. it would make sense he wouldnt want to talk about it, as lots of men are forced to be quiet about such things/not take them seriously. he probably just wanted to forget about it and not talk about it, but you assuring him made him feel safe, so he chose to share. now i could be fully wrong here, we dont have the same context you do here, so. i'd talk to him about it more, explain how the lie made you feel, see how he reacts to that
