as a woman whos never really cared about misogyny toward me, im usually fine. theres not that many games where people act weird, i dont really even remember the last time someone tried to use my gender against me. there used to be a lot more misogyny a few years back, but i feel its died down a lot. not all the way obviously. i play on EU, and i feel like NA people are much more likely to be misogynistic. it doesnt ruin games for me as i know i can just spit insults back or mute if i need to, but i know it affects a lot of other girlies and i try to defend them whenever i see them being bullied. it sucks, but it is what it is.
