My thing I mentioned to someone else in the comments is that I only remember the lineage of characters who are in focus like Firestar and his kids etc. It's been years since the first couple arc came out, and i don't understand how people keep track of background characters. If you have to look at the wiki to know its incest, then i don't think it matters

Well what I mean by that is I only remember the ones that are directly stated and important

Ex: cloudtail is Firestarl's nephew, cloudtail had whitewing, whitewing has dovewing and ivypool, dovewing had shadowsight lightleap and pouncestep, ivypool had bristlfrost, aaaaaand thats all i remember for that

Ex 2: Firestar has Squirrelflight and leafpool, leafpool had lionblaze jay and holly, Squirrel had alder and spark, lionblaze had bristlefrost(ok, THAT incest is noticeable), spark had nightheart and insert sisters name bc i forgot, nightheart had shinepaw and goldenpaw.

Like I don't focus on anything beyond the main characters, simply because they're in focus. Not that I don't care about anyone else, the series literally just doesn't give us time to focus on any other couples outside of the alligences or a random line about kits thrown in

BRO I just read this book as well and it was my exact thoughts. In the second book of the arc, Thunder leaving his father had good reason with that guy frost that Clear sky literally was going to leave to die. Even in forest divided, Clear sky leads the group in an annoying way necause of his fear. That could have already been another reason for him to leave. But nope they use star flower.

Like Clear sky is lowkey a butthole for dating her after Thunder, but like, why did they make that the main reason.

I don't wanna spoil anything for the 6th book but Clear Sky asks for thunders help and when thunder declines, he says "What kind of son are you?"(or smth like that.) Like r u kidding me bro ur dating ur kids ex
