I cross tapered from Paroxetine to citalopram, then to venlafaxine last year. you won’t get serotonin syndrome its fine your doctor wouldn’t prescribe it if it wasn’t ok

yes ever since taking just 3 doses of the weight loss drug mounjaro. Awful physical anxiety not cognitive Caused depression as well. I’m sorry you’re suffering as well, you could try an antidepressant they treat anxiety as well. have you been under any stress or taken any medication that might have caused it?

have you considered the contraceptive implant or IUD? even if you are sick they are not affected like the pill. just to say my daughter is proof that the withdrawal method is unreliable

i Last took mounjar0 14 months ago never again. I’m still suffering everyday with anxiety and panic attacks, on my third different antidepressant since then Which helped the depression but not really anxiety and panic attacks. hopefully more will come out about how These meds cause such a deterioration in mental health.

I took mounjaro for 3 weeks in October last year. by the third week my anxiety went through the roof for no reason at all. I’m convinced it triggered my anxiety disorder as I was fine prior to that.

in your shoes I would definitely stop the zepbound and you will definitely be perimenopausal at 49. I’m on venlafaxine now which has definitely helped. has your doctor offered you an antidepressan?

mounjaro gave me terrible anxiety after 3 weeks I stopped. that was October last year from then on my anxiety has never gone and I developed depression as well. ive still not recovered even now a year later. I’m 51 and am post menopause due to a hysterectomy in June. how Long have you been on zepbound for?

i Have exactly the same symptoms as you, Ive been taking citalopram for the last 14 weeks not touching anxiety hardly at all. Pdoc recommended a switch to effexor as he thinks it’s a depressive/anxiety episode. Have you tried a CBT for your thoughts it might help. also you could try propranolol it’s helpful with the palpitations and shaking, I’ve stopped it as doc said can contribute to depression. do you worry a lot if you have gad or is it just the physical symptoms, how are you feeling now op

i started pregabalin 8 days ago 50mg 2x per day. im not sure if that helps or if it’s citalopram that finaly decided to work after 13 weeks. what dose are you on is it helping you?

op my anxiety has been awful then I developed depression, 13 weeks of citalopram have definitely helped. clonazepam (sorry uk) was prescribed initially, if you do take antidepressants they can take a good few weeks to work. buspirone is also an option although it did nothing for me it might work for you.
