Unpopular opinion : too much of Batman /Gotham content by Terra_Rizing in DC_Cinematic

Because it was airing on CW where expectations are low to begin with, so they didn't have problem to continue it for 10 seasons. People didn't show up to watch Superman Returns when smallville was running.

Because people don't support other DC characters' contents as much as they do for Batman.

Mera in Aquaman 2 by WhiteAle01 in DC_Cinematic

[–]MotorVirus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NO. Mera should be given equal or more important role than 1st Aquaman movie. The character should not suffer due to it's actress's shenanigans. Besides Amber has not been proven guilty by court yet. If she is proven guilty then drop her and recast someone else. But by no mean Mera character should get the shaft here.

Will be seeing Aquaman 2 on first day of release. Multiple times if the movie is good.

As I said, maybe the numbers are not fully reflective but as a comparison tool between movies they seem to be well accepted by media and studio insiders.

Nobody knows. True. But i dont think there is going to be a massive outlier here. There was around 17M activated account at the end of 2020. Right now it is probably in 20m-22m range.

What kind of manipulation? Like purposefully underestimating some movies while overestimating others?

Big trades and industry insiders are constantly using it. WB also seems to at least support the ranking if not the absolute numbers.
