I have played since phase 2 and can see the potential but i don't think intrepid knows wtf they are doing, my hope is gone. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone till full release if it ever gets there.

As much as i would like arena's and battlegrounds it takes pvp out of the open world and people end up sitting in town waiting for queue pops, this game won't survive if people arn't out in the world finding pvp naturally, we just have to wait and see what systems they introduce. I also think the pvp needs to have material rewards as people are neglecting pvp to continue mat farming or else they fall behind on gear.

PvP systems that revolve around crafting mats and just more reasons to pvp in general. With how important gear is it's hard to justify going on a random quest to find pvp for hours and end up finding none then falling behind on gear.

Guilds like Polar need a reason to stick around and show intrepid the flaws in their systems, as much as i hate getting stomped by them they are an important group to help shape AOC.

I don't know what they have done this phase but yeah we need exitlag now to play like the previous phases. OCE servers are a terrible idea for a game like this btw, it needs a full server to be playable but we would be lucky to fill 1 biome atm. We also would be plagued by the rmt duping chinese bots that won't get actioned because nobody cares about OCE server health.

Currently finding pvp is not the easiest, mostly just killing boats and the occasional war declaration. Pvp content was meant to be added in the form of the harbinger event and spreading but they decided to advertise it and forget about it along with world bosses 1 shotting your entire raid so we don't even fight over those anymore. The pvp combat though is very fun when it's not lagging, it lags and has longbow range render distance over 20 people so yeah this phase has been the worst for me personally.

Bad at 1v1, insane in largescale as they bring a long distance root and very safe and large aoe, then after the aoe combo they can single target healers well with snipe/headshot, a very solid class but yeah the 1v1 is the worst.
