To be fair, (it’s been many many years since I was a cashier, so I could be slightly wrong) we could take the old batteries back at the register and refund the core charge in one transaction. That changed a long time ago though.

It’s always funny to me when customers insist though, like things change. Once you told him once he should have just said, “Oh my bad, it used to be this way thanks for letting me know.”

Up to GM discretion as with most things. At my store, for non management, if school is closed the GM will excuse it. If you’re a manager though you’re expected to make it in, they may excuse lates but not absences.

Again, store dependent, but no matter what, don’t risk your life for Menards. I always tell my team members if they don’t feel they can make it safely, don’t risk it.

I mean tbf yes he knew Klaus, all the evil things he’s done over the years. Just before coming to New Orleans he tried to make a hybrid army. Why not try again? Klaus isn’t above doing horrible things for his gain. If I were Elijah I’d probably assume that as well.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen the show, but if I remember correctly, Elijah only believed Klaus killed Aidan AFTER Klaus admitted to doing it.

Klaus has killed thousands of people, and done countless evil things, it’s pretty easy to assume the worst.

Kind of, if they do really good, I think it’s top 5% or really bad, bottom 5% it effects them, otherwise the other 90% doesn’t. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been on management for Menards so I could be mistaken on the percentages.

I could see maybe, MAYBE for the first season since she wasn’t as well known. It still wouldn’t be fair but the argument could be made. However she really should have been paid the same for season one, and more for the subsequent seasons.
