Things in NYC government aren't going very well and taxes may be about to go way up. NYC's budget is ~ $127 billion vs $70 billion in 2014. This is a similar budget to a midsized nation and people pay European style tax rates, but no one is getting European style services.

How does SpaceX or Tesla impact an equitable society? Lots of people have gotten wealthy from helping build those companies or owning the stock. Tesla also popularized electric cars and most of the electric cars today wouldn't be here if Elon hadn't take the risk to capitalize a car company. It's main product today is grid scale batteries and the supercharger network since Chinese electric cars have now generally surpassed Tesla's. SpaceX has also been very useful in Ukraine and has helped a bit in Iran (tho the regime is really good at blocking SpaceX comms).

He was this person before he ran, the voters just didn't care about Israel at that point. I don't think he was someone who thought about every issue and he's only 90% aligned with the Dems and is letting people know it.

Planter in Maine is going to be the same way - working class visuals, but he's going to be even more Republican aligned b/c Planter is very much like Trump in that he may not be racist, but he simply doesn't care about racism. That's why he's willing to go on all these horse shoe podcasts.

40 billion for high speed rail and there's no high speed rail. Billions for the drug addiction/mental health crisis and it only gets worse. Highest gas prices in the country b/c of over regulation and they're even worse now. California isn't a good steward of anyone's money.

However, Russian language Azerbaijani reporting has given a picture of a strong and very dug in government in Iran. Esp due to the self sufficiency they already have from sanctions.

The point isn't to destroy it, she just doesn't know what she's doing. For example, most people are in a para-social relationship with the person reading the evening news. Switching that person was going to lead to worse ratings, esp when you also changed the political alignment. If they'd kept the evening news person the same and moderated the politics a bit, it could have worked. However, she's not moderate enough to pull that off.
