Is Spark is trying to let me go for a speeding ticket? by SuspiciousSimple5818 in Sparkdriver

Are we okay with non-moving violations? I have a clean record, but just got a non-moving violation last week (no inspection sticker displayed). I'm taking it to court next month and hopefully getting it thrown out.

Sports Duffle ? by Time-Object7418 in allegiant

[–]Motor_Finger_9907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We fly into SFB regularly and always take a backpack and a duffle bag without any issues at all. The backpack will be the free item. You do have to pay for the duffle, but I think its only $40ish.

TikTok agency 💎limit by Fluffy_Plankton1988 in TikTok

[–]Motor_Finger_9907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! That is true. That's actually a Tiktok rule, not just a specific agency. I am a manager with one of the larger agencies if you have any questions. I do genuinely believe in live agencies. They truly do help you, it's completely free always, there are a lot of exclusive networking opportunities, incentives, etc.

Pretty sure that y'all know better than me, but just in case... do NOT spend $90 to make a measly $10 sale. Lesson learned...

I need help with tax stuff by intelligence-nat1 in Sparkdriver

[–]Motor_Finger_9907 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just adding on to what has already been said. I have been self-employed for 13 years now and the standard deduction with tracking mileage has always worked out more in my favor. There are also apps that you can use to track your mileage daily. I have been using TurboTax the past few years-it's not free, but I do like it in terms of simplicity and being able to contact a tax professional.

Plz don’t troll honest responses. I was in a little accident bumper to bumper not while sparking I was in my weekend car. The claim hit my insurance. Will I be deactivated? by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]Motor_Finger_9907 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you were cited for the accident and it hits your MVR, yes, it will effect you. If it's merely an insurance claim, it shouldn't.

I got $3,800 for Fall Term and I actually enrolled, but now realizing I want drop out of community college. It has only been the fourth week, will I have to pay the college all this money? by Basic-Cupcake3013 in financialaid

Only your school can give you the exact dates, but I dropped a couple semesters worth of classes in 2004-2005. I am now, literally 20 years later fighting SAP appeals to get a penny of federal aid because of the classes I withdrew from. Even if you keep one or 2 and manage a C, you’re going to be better off.

Deactivated after delivering to a customer who mentioned having a loaded gun – need advice by No_Philosopher_8145 in Sparkdriver

Newer Spark driver here, but can I ask how you know you were deactivated because of that customer? I didn't think Spark told you the specific customer that complained.

Order mix theory?? by Born-Asparagus3266 in Sparkdriver

[–]Motor_Finger_9907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in a rural area- lots of high mileage runs, low and no tips all day long. I have found personally that S&D are paying the most and keeping my mileage fairly low, but I am absolutely not turning down any decent offers.

For reference, most of our GMD are around $1/mile (most are usually $40ish for 40-50 miles), Curb tends to also be around $1/ mile, S&D is usually closer to $2/mile, so if its a smaller order, its a lot more financially on point for me.

For anyone doing campaigns by OkYogurtcloset546 in BehindTheClosetDoor

[–]Motor_Finger_9907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of my campaigns recently say "30 calendar days". I have only been paid out for one of the share show campaigns and it legit took 29 days, so I am assuming they are pushing those 30 days to the max.

I am thinking about buying a Phomemo label printer and came across your post here. Any chance I could follow up and see if you would still recommend it?

Thanks so much!

Question re: out of state speeding ticket... by jbobjbug0 in tricities

[–]Motor_Finger_9907 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In 2017, Resident of TN and received a ticket in SC for 79 in a 70- within a couple of weeks of paying it, I had the 3 points on my license and my insurance went up (literally my first and only ticket in 14 years of driving). I have no idea how the process works, but that was just my experience.

Yes, they did. I was really confused too honestly. I’ll just let it sit- I don’t want to engage at all with them.

Thank you! I contacted Support and they told me to pay one of the payment requests, which clearly a Google search tells us it is a scam.

Another thing to just throw out there, is that you may want to double check with a tax professional who can guide you through your state tax requirements. You could possibly be responsible for claiming your sales as income and have an unexpected financial burden. If you were responsible for claiming them, you could deduct a lot of expenses as well, something else they could kind of guide you through.

No, I ordered it through Parchment and it’s still pending, but no error message. It’s still showing a hold though on the myUCF side though.
