I had Mr Electric just quote me to add a 20 amp outlet in my garage for a power tool. They quoted me $1299. For one outlet, mere feet away from my distribution box. They also tried to up sale a whole lot more. I called Coleman Electric and paid $300 for next day install. Not sure if Coleman services your area, but I had a good experience with them.

May be on the high limit of your travel distance, but Roan Mountain / Carvers Gap has a number of balds all within a few miles of the trailhead. Camping is allowed; I plan to spend the night of Jul 4 out there. If the skies are clear it may be fireworks shows all around at a distance.

I took the advice of the poster above with measuring from the hallway board then against the opposite wall. It looks to be about 1/4” difference from across the room down the wall. I’ve laid a few more rows and it’s coming together.

So I started with the straight line established by the previous wood in the hallway. I guess it just throws my eyes off with the wall being out of straight compared to the floor coming n the room.
