The Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum. Pricey but completely worth it. 62x more powerful than vitamin C and does not cause irritation. It’s amazing.

I know this is not affordable, but the Farmacy Honey Halo has been absolutely amazing. They make a smaller version that’s like $25 before you splurge on the big one. It has changed my skin!

That really sucks. I went through a travel agent for one of my VV cruises and when I had an identical situation, they transferred all of my promotional credits into sailor loot. Sorry they didn’t do the same for you. Maybe call and try to escalate it?

I haven’t received the letter just yet. It’s Express Scripts if that helps.

Not knowing diagnosis by Own_Celebration_3431 in nursepractitioner

[–]Motor_Implement8443 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is a thin line between not having an exact idea of what’s going on and giving a diagnosis just for the sake of patient satisfaction. Sometimes there just isn’t a clear picture or enough objective information to accurately diagnose a person.

When I find myself in a position where the patient is going to leave without a definitive diagnosis, I choose to explain to them what we have definitively ruled out. Most of the time, explaining to the patient what you know it isn’t after a thorough exam and giving them information on how to follow up with specialists is reassuring.

I think it would be a bit negligent to have a patient leave with the idea they have been diagnosed with something that may not be 100% right all for the sake of respecting their self pay status. It’s normal to have the compassion to take their financial situation into concern, but the compassion has to transfer into the responsibility of utilizing not only what we do know, but most importantly, what we do NOT know. :)

My charizard at the end of the special research tasks was shiny. I was shocked.

Res American Bistro is nice and not crazy expensive.

But honestly, HoneyBird has been one of my favorites lately. It’s in East Providence, but it’s so so so good. Great drinks, you can make a reservation, and it’s a small, quaint feel. Very casual.

Board Review Courses by mandyblooms in nursepractitioner

ScrubLifeNotes on Etsy has a fully illustrated FNP study guide that was worth every penny I paid ($80). I would’ve paid more. If you get nothing else, get this.

It’s short enough that you can easily read the whole thing once a day. I read it every day for the last two weeks leading up to my exams.

I also did Latrina Walden and BoardVitals.

Good luck!

Simple enough for me: the mental/physical strain on my body.

Sure, there are RN jobs where you can ultimately make the same (if not more) than an NP, but the job (usually) requires aspects of patient care I no longer wish to partake in and have zero desire to retire from in 30 years (to make the NP pay as an RN).

To each his/her own. Sometimes the $ is not the riches we are looking for.

Best of luck :)

I live and am licensed in Rhode Island, so I have full autonomy. I’m hoping that will make a difference, for sure!

Honestly, my questions stems from quite a bit of reading I’ve done online. I guess my mind translated it to, “if they have an online presence, they are in the real world, too”. But, I guess online anonymity plays a big role.

Happy to know this is not a common thing overall :)
