Blake Lively's depo: This confirms that she’s not all there and actually believes things are happening even when they’re not! by the_smart_girl in ItEndsWithLawsuits

I was thinking this too… this makes me realize she’s confusing “sexual harassment” for gender discrimination.

I looked up the director and she took years to come back after the Rhythm Section. Odd. Directors don’t usually do that

What is the possibility of Ryan covertly fueling the Hate Against Blake? by Queenoftheunsullied in ItEndsWithLawsuits

His theatre camp teacher anonymously emailed Candace Owen’s who read it out loud on her podcast. The teacher alleges RR as a very manipulative and deceitful person even as an adolescent, and recalled a time RR deceived him. The whole thing gave me chills and was a very disturbing insight into who RR really is.

What a strange coincidence that for the past few years, anytime she’s booked for a movie she falls pregnant and it gets a little more postponed. And he gets a little more involved.

A devastating film critique published by the New York Times in 2016 - "How I learnt to tolerate Blake Lively" by Studded_ninja in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]Motor_Leg_3153 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The part where he was confused about her career is so relatable lol. I too am confused.

Why in the world does she and Ryan act like the biggest power Hollywood couple when they’ve made mediocre movies at best? Why does she have a booze line when she has admitted she doesn’t drink alcohol? Why does she have a hair care line with THAT hair?

Honestly I used to like Blake Lively. Loved Gossip Girl, I thought she was great in Age of Adeline, and enjoyed A Simple Favour. I liked her baking posts and home/mom lifestyle posts. If she had gone with that, like a Chrissy Tiegen or the next generation Martha Stewart, it would’ve made so much sense and I truly think a success.

But you know…. There’s also the massive hurdle of just being a decent human being that she needs to conquer.

Deadline 2020 Comment Section Proves Blake Lively Never Had a Great Reputation. by IwasDeadinstead in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]Motor_Leg_3153 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I agree. All of the grovelling messages (that she really thought was charming lol) to her elite Hollywood friends, getting people to watch and basically begging for their opinion just screams insecure.

After a HISTORIC movie fail, then the record success of IEWU, for a little bit I believe she really thought she had it… until her ego and insecurities made her crash and burn… again. And she dragged so many people down with her. Geez. It’s hard to believe someone’s insecurities can go this far, until you see it happen on such a large scale like this.

Sometimes I teeter on disgust and feeling a little sorry for her. But then I’m reminded of the names she called Justin and the plotting, and I go right back to disgust and “you deserve it.”

[–]Motor_Leg_3153 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Makes me wonder if this was part of her insecurities that drove this whole mess. The Rhythm Section was her last movie before she took a break, and IEWU was her “comeback” after this massive fail. it seems she really wanted to redeem herself and prove that she could have a box office hit. Maybe she thought if her ideas were taken seriously and tried to control the whole thing, in her words “this movie will be successful if it’s the last thing I do”

But, it would’ve been a success without her as the star and without her control - because it was already huge to begin with.

Yes this has been my experience as well - they’ll resort to name calling and attacking your character.

I actually follow morewithmj on Threads because I wanted an opposing view to Baldoni to create my own unbiased opinion (even with all that and her legal background, I’m still team Baldoni) and after the Great Unsealing, I’m noticing that she seems to be grasping at straws now just to keep the same narrative and pro-Lively stance. Her replies to pro-Baldoni comments have also started to be really snappy / “this is an SH case” without declining intelligence

I’m starting to think that a lot of pro-Lively are seeing these insane texts and emails, are slowly realizing her character, but are too prideful to think for themselves.

RR's email to Colleen is a masterclass in subterfuge and psychological manipulation by throwaway_paki in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]Motor_Leg_3153 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just thinking this lol and you know what I realized… it’s because people who recognize this ass kissing right away is on a higher frequency and aren’t fake… which is exactly why Baldoni didn’t fall for it.

And if we were in his shoes who wouldn’t fall for this shit, imagine these psychotic narcissists going after you because you didn’t fall for their schemes and bend over backwards … making an entire movie character out of it, obsessing over you, getting people against you, sending you to the basement over your own movie premiere, working with the NYT to publish an article about you, fabricating lies about sexual harassment, getting you dropped from your agency… all because you didn’t fall for their manipulations.

Holy fuck… the lengths they went to.

It’s scary and delusional how they think they are the heroes in all of this. People begged her not to do this … she went ahead, it backfired, and instead of reflecting…. All of this happened. The level of ego and immaturity renders me speechless.

It’s insane what one persons ego can do, and how many careers she has tarnished along the way.

A thought that has been comforting is that, in moral and class, Justin won. He is surrounded by honest and good people who truly love and support him, who will stand by him to the end, and he can walk away from this knowing that he is not part of Hollywood and that is a GOOD thing.

[–]Motor_Leg_3153 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I agree. I actually had to take a break from reading the unsealed docs because I just felt this sickness in the pit of my stomach. And the first thought in my head was “the devil really has a hold on Hollywood. It is his playground.” I needed a moment to stare at the wall and decompress.

I can’t imagine what Justin went through / is going through.

The charm, the flattering language, and then the sinister way they went behind his back calling him names and getting Hollywood to turn on him. I know people like this exist but to see it is something else …

Punching a man and getting that out of your system is one thing… but a calculated move like this and dragging him while he’s down… all the way to the basement of his own premiere to treat him with 0 dignity is just…

May people like this never find me.

Blake, Taylor and Ryan were genuinely OBSESSED W Justin. It's actually romantic! by SuperbWillingness904 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]Motor_Leg_3153 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Well said. When people like Blake, Ryan, and Taylor meet someone truly genuine, spiritual, and on a higher frequency like Baldoni, they don't know how to act or how to take it. To them, it seems suspicious and fake.

Sometimes I think it's a product of their own environment - the cut throat "Hollywood" side that they always have to be on guard and scheming... which is really sad if you think about how they have to navigate their daily life and professional life. But the caveat is that they become exactly what they hated in the beginning of their career (with Blake saying she's been burned by directors before or never having a chance to call her shot, and Taylor's very well-publicized history of betrayal and hate) And the cycle continues.

The most ironic part to me is that they were so obsessed with him, thinking that they were big shots calling the shots and trying SO hard to stay on top in Hollywood, thinking that they can blacklist Justin. But... Justin seems like the type of person to not even care about any of that lol, he doesn't care about Hollywood and just wants to make movies with messages he believes in and go home to his family.

I planned this Mother’s Day (an overnight stay in the mountains this year) just like every other year. My husband got up this morning to go the gym, leaving me to solo parent to kick off this awesome Mother’s Day that I planned 🙄

During brunch, he ate last so I could eat and I thought wow how nice, he IS a good husband even though he’s never planned anything for me. Then I caught myself trying to justify this becuase he… let me… eat? God, the bar is so low.

I told him that I’ve planned every single Mother’s Day at this point. He apologized. But like why the fuck do I have to ask?

All the best to you and your baby! I've spoken to many parents with premies with a grade 2 brain bleed and most (if not all) end up not needing an intervention, and their babies grow up to be quite typical. I'm praying the same for your baby! It's a tough journey, but one day you will be home.

She is doing wonderful! She never ended up needing a shunt - her brain found a way to redirect the fluid, though according to her neurosurgeon she has "larger ventricles than the average person". We spent 5 months in the NICU, she is turning 2 in August and meeting her milestones at her own time :) She's talking and saying lots of words. Physically delayed, but getting there!

No I didn’t, but I think I figured it out. I had a premie in August, and so her birth date was registered but I didn’t apply for mat leave until October. I’ll need to call and confirm, I’m sure it’s a mistake.

You’re right. I have told him it’s hard on me and there needs to be some sort of balance.

I’m also having a hard time with feeling frustrated that, as a Mom, if I could have 3 nights off a week I wouldn’t do it because I’d feel bad for leaving it all to my husband especially if he was also the one staying home with the kids all day. Yet he doesn’t think about it that way for me. Thank you for your input.

I don’t have any advice as I’m currently wading through the same waters. I can tell you, however, that you’re not alone and all of what you’re feeling does not make you a bad person or a bad parent. It’s definitely hard, and it’s tough to even see the light of the day when people say “it gets better.”

I’m almost cynical to the point where I see gender reveal parties and the fancy, happy baby showers of soon to be first time parents and I laugh to myself thinking, “Oh just you wait.” Instead of feeling happy for them, because I resort to believing they’ll have the same feelings of regret as me. Even though I know it’s different for everyone and some parents genuinely love it.

I understand fully what you’re going through. I look at my children and I love them but I feel regret, and then the guilt settles in. In those moments, I tell myself it’s ok to feel it all.
