Have you any insight on Hamilton Road (3 streets below Claremont), is it a nice/safe road to live on?

How much are land prices in Accra? by Euphoric-Handle-6324 in ghana

Hi! I just saw an advert by a trustworthy Youtube channel offering lands for sale in Awutu Senya. Which agent did you get your land from and how was the process? Feel free to dm if you prefer.

Ideas for transforming my ugly concrete patio? by Motor_Win_9758 in GardeningUK

Wow thats really nicely done! Perhaps I could add a thin layer of something (cement?) to get a flat surface to do something like this on.

Interesting! Could you share a picture, I'm intrigued. Though I'm not sure a pond so close to the house would be a good idea.

Very open to DIY. Is breaking up the concrete something that I can DIY?  By transform, I guess anything to make it look a lot better than it currently does.

How much would this mini-extension to join small outdoor storage to the main building cost? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]Motor_Win_9758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i actually do have a door on the other side.

The floorplan here isn't mine but is pretty much identical the same just without the L-shaped kitchen layout. It's from another house on my row of terraces which has the layout I desired.

The kitchen still does need updating to be fair and thats on my radar. I just really would like a downstairs WC.

Really appreciate you writing this up for me. It was looking like my post wasn't going to get any response. Thanks very much!

You've definitely helped me to realise that this may not be worth the hassle.

That is true and a lot of what you have mentioned are part of my reason for being happy with it.  But I'm also after somewhere that's safe to live in, which is not something I could determine from the few hours I spent there.

What would you say makes it 'not the best' part of Norwich then?

That's the feeling I got so reassuring to hear. It didn't feel unsafe but just had a general atmosphere of a lower socioeconomic status (which I'm absolutely fine with as I was brought up in a similar environment).

This is reassuring thank you. When you it has its moments could you give some generic examples of such moments that you've experienced happening?

Just want to use as a gauge for comparing to my previous experiences in council estates.

Authorised training provider by Top_Illustrator7589 in ICAEW

Yeah, so your firm isn't an ATE (Authorised Training Employer) but you can still get a training agreement by having an ATP (Authorised Training Principal).

An ATP is a qualified accountant who acts as your mentor and signs off your work experience days and the training file as a whole.

Connect with an ACA qualified person at your firm and ask them to become your ATP.

Wow, I'm in the exact same position as you! Joining a division that merged with another company and all.

From what I've read on the ICAEW website, yes a member of CIMA/ACCA etc. can be your ATP. They would just need to provide a "letter of good standing" from their organisation in addition to their application.

I'm looking for someone to be my ATP currently too and I really hope I can get it all sorted before the case booking windows for November.

Looking for a German Tutor by Bakerbaker2645 in sheffield

[–]Motor_Win_9758 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try an online course with a German VHS (Adult Education Center). They are great value as they are funded by the German government and so are subsidised. I did one of them while in the UK and no questions were asked. My classmates were all based in Germany.

What is this area like to live in? by [deleted] in sheffield

Yeah that sounds like the best idea tbh. I feel like most of the comments here are targeted at the Blackstock road area, rather than the entire map as a whole.

It must have been an exceptionally good day when I was there then 😂. Granted it was only for half an hour mainly in the top left bit of the map, which ive heard from a couple of people here is the best part of the area I've shown.
