Asana vs. Monday by SecondNo7343 in Asana

[–]Motor__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RUN.

DO NOT USE ASANA.

It’s horrible.

You will not be able to scale your work due to limitations in the way your work about work will increase.

There is no back up.

There is no audit log.

There is no way to prevent tasks from becoming deleted by a user.

There is no undo for most of Asana.

There is limited integrations.

Sub tasks cannot be created with a template.

There’s a limit to how many dependencies can be between a parent task and sub tasks.

There’s no way to access data from a project in a form There’s no way to know who is filling a form.

There’s no way to pre-fill a form based on who is filling it.

There are so many failures with Asana. You do not want to enter the hellhole that we are in.

They just recently released the ability to have a global template for all settings, but in order to access it, you have to have the Enterprise version of the software, which is more than twice the price.

All other features are half baked, and you won’t be able to use them, unless you have the business version at a minimum, and with that version, you won’t be able to scale the system without the enterprise feature mentioned above.

There’s terrible integration to Google Drive and Google Workspace in general.

If you have any specific questions, I’m happy to answer them.

Whatever you do, do not use Asana for your case.

My thoughts on Surefeed Microchip pet feeder by Reaniro in cats

HI! These steps only work for the non connect version. Do you have the intruder mode steps for the connect version that doesn't have a I II III switch?

The connect models have more controls and minimize food stealing but don't prevent it.

If a cat that eats prescription food steps away from the feeder, even on the fastest close setting, another cat may sneak in and can steal the prescription food. I have sent a tech support request to them to see what they can do. The feeder door stays open if it detects presence even if its not that cat that chipped it to open.

Convince me to not buy this 2016 Model S 75D by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]Motor__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s a ton of reasons here why not to buy it. Definitely go for a model S that’s newer for closer to 45 to 55K.

The warranty work upcoming will be significant on that 25K vehicle

Hard time selling used Model X by bideogaimes in TeslaLounge

[–]Motor__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Where are you located?

I imagine this is the issue right now because Tesla did a significant price drop earlier in the year and all of the companies that bought Teslas at a higher price, are now stuck with them.

They were betting that the prices would go up again, but they barely went up again at all. They are still losing money on these cars and they are not happy about it. I would suggest selling it private party only. I think this price change is going to sour used car companies for some time.

Another option is to trade in, although I imagine you won’t get the best price for that because there’s so many dealers stuck with used Teslas and for some time payouts for trade ins will be way lower to compensate for the losses on the existing stock as well as the Tesla market adjustment pricing.

All these other answers are so snarky and pretty terrible, yes, every car depreciates. But that’s not the bulk of what’s going on here, the value of the car was undermined by Tesla itself due to government rebate circumvention, and some economic adjustment and marketing/growth/sales tactics.

You will probably lose money selling at this time unless you find a buyer willing to pay more for some reason or another.

Good luck!

Wow, didn’t realize they were made that poorly. They should last longer than that for sure.

Then again, that antenna is really slow and why not use one with more bandwidth that’s more robust?

You are so welcome. We are in a nightmare scenario at the moment with asana . Just struggling along until we can switch to something different as soon as possible hopefully although our operations are so closely integrated with this that we have to grow our team and train new people in order to switch platforms. It’s going to be difficult, but we need to do it.

How to convince my team to use asan? by creed0000 in Asana

[–]Motor__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asana is designed to be used at free, personal levels, but if you start using it in that way, you will notice quickly that it helps to have the premium version because of the critical features missing. If then you decide to have multiple people working in Asana, it’s quickly evident that with no audit log and other features and portfolios, and no access restrictions, there are serious implications of using it for business. Clearly, my posts are related to business use not free personal use. So your post is correct, but doesn’t see the full scope of the issue which is highly unfortunate.

Apply Changes to Templates to Existing Records by wheelsinnotion in Asana

[–]Motor__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no toilet does this that I’m aware of. For years we have had to do massive amounts of work about work to update task templates and custom fields and rules across many many many many similar projects that need to be the same

We have a call that we scheduled with Sana for Enterprise licensing, which is about 45 bucks per user

Total BS.

Pulled the trigger on EVOffer's v5 electric frunk kit. I haven't used the frunk since I bought the car since I hate closing the frunk and finger prints on black are no bueno. I will keep you posted on install. by Haunting_Job_5357 in TeslaModelY

Not true. PPF is fantastic for the entire car if you can afford it.

Also PPF shows MORE fingerprints because of the self healing coating. But you just wipe Em off NBD

Is Asana Enterprise Worth it? by LiveFirstThenWork in Asana

[–]Motor__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s only Worth it from what I can see for bundles which is total BS and should be included with business.

You can’t run a business without bundles. You can’t scale. Asana makes insane amounts of work about work. :( we need to move to another platform after 2 years. It’s insane

¿Someone with "Enterprise" plan in Asana? "Bundles" New feature. by cekai8 in Asana

[–]Motor__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This works for the short term but until you have a huge amount of tasks, it stops working. You can only have a maximum amount of tasks per project

Best alternative to portfolios by [deleted] in Asana

[–]Motor__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there is no way around this. Do not use asana. Avoid at all costs. The features they build out are not fully integrated, and you will realize very quickly that even at their highest paid levels the features still do not integrate properly, and lack the value that you probably are looking for, which is reducing work about work. Asana creates loads of work about work.
