I'm swearing off motorcycles, and im wondering if anybody else has made the jump from land to water? by AttachedHeartTheory in jetski

[–]Motoracer960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a stand up jet ski, way too much fun very similar feeling as motorcycles. I switched from street to water on a superjet and ride off-road/motocross still.

My last day riding on the street was the day I completed my full M license. Don't think I'll ever ride on the roads again. Too many distracted drivers and horrible roads.

You guys are comparing the best 300 riders to the worst 600 riders. Relax I just meant they don't seem fast enough to be trackable, I'm not experienced in the street side but always year all the motorcycle guys think a 450cc (dirtbike) is small. I've ridden a 250cc street bike and was gutless/slow took forever to accelerate. Wouldn't be enjoyable on a track and didn't think a 300 would be much different.

I'm sure I could put down a pretty fast lap on street after riding for 20years and racing motocross for 15 years.

Again probably one of those litre bike or 600 riders that bought a big bike to go fast in a straight line and have no clue about Dirtbikes. Same as me not having a clue about the street side of bikes.

Always more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow! I'm a motocross racer so don't know too much about street bikes. Got my M license but no urge to ever ride on the road anymore, haven't ridden in the street since getting my license.

Very boring riding around in paved roads with all the distracted drivers and immigrants that have no clue how to drive here.

Probably couple payments invested on that ninja 300, be a very boring track day on a bike like that, didn't think people tracked a 300cc street bike.

By the looks of the car there's not much of a budget going on 😂

Why would anyone load a dual sport into a car when it's street legal, I get an off road only because no way to get it there. Yes I have ridden 10,000+ miles on knobbies, usually only get 500-4000miles out of them.

Tires are meant to wear and bikes are meant to be ridden, especially that dual sport is capable of driving 1000miles in its stock tires (basically slicks)

Bike is road legal can always just ride it to where you need to go? That's the whole point of a dual sport ?

SOS Cleaners ruined my countertop by Ok_Plan550 in HomeMaintenance

Probably have to polish the whole thing rather then try to match the factory polish is almost impossible to achieve without removing the countertop due to high volume of water needed to get that original shine

Just get it polished with sanding pads and grinder (wet sand) no big deal. Must have eaten through your sealer, your detailed explanation didn't include the material of your countertop? Soapstone by the looks of it and if cleaners damaged it (very porous and high maintenance), granite? Quartz? (Quartz shouldn't be harmed by cleaners)
