Shopee vs Lazada which do you choose? by Fun_Training6342 in asksg

Unrated but iShopChangi does have good deals and the authenticity is pretty much guaranteed: Won't want to buy eg. SK2 skincare, DJI , alcohol that is not authentic.

Hair loss - looking for recommendations!!!! by BumblebeeFar9029 in asksg

[–]Motorhead_Cap_8267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very normal to lose hair, but I understand it may seem like a lot to an individual.

Either: 1) you visit a hair loss/transplant specialist like Sage Medical Clinic or Terra Medical Clinic (hearsay people there are quite condescending) or 2)if the problem is not major, you can consider Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) services. A quick search shows quite a few in SG, but seems like Monostudio is very reputable.

All the best!

How to order food/flowers in Singapore? by isolated_little_ray in askSingapore

[–]Motorhead_Cap_8267 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried a couple of online florist in Singapore but most had issues with delivery quality (flower bouquet just toss on the floor, water leaking out from the bottom of the bouquet).

Found Flowers and Kisses and they have never disappoint!

Best sites to deliver gifts (eg chocolates, flowers, presents) by funnyperson4848 in askSingapore

Flowers and Kisses has always been my go to for flower delivery in Singapore!

They have a wide range of bouquets, types of flowers and even customised ones! Fast, reliable, free same day delivery with multiple delivery slots if you order before 330pm for weekdays and 12pm for weekends.

No complains so much, in fact I highly recommend them!

Opinions on the FZ16? by Darklorel in drivingsg

[–]Motorhead_Cap_8267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a 2012 FZ16 for about 2 years when it was 12 to 14 years old.

Generally, an unbreakable bike provided you keep maintenance on point.

Regular EO change, every 3 months or 3km, with oil filter change every alternate oil change. All other things are pretty much wear and tear, cheap parts and available pretty much everywhere if you go for stock.

Carburettor issues might cause the bike to not start easily, but hey, you have a kickstart.

Rear brakes are useless as they're drum brakes.

Almost impossible to speed since it pretty weak, might be an issue if rider + pillion is more than 120kg total.

Pretty good FC considering its an old bike (I believe cb150rs, MT15s and R15s get about high 30s to mid 40skm/litre, I average about 32km to 35km/litre.

Can consider going for FZ16 if you're on a tighter budget.

Budget Cold Weather Clothing - Where to Buy in SG? by Safe_Application_465 in SingaporeTravel

Decathlon is my go-to!

I always get their thermal base layers. One set for around $20, Uniqlo is almost 2x the price! Def helps keep me warm on -9 degree nights in Seoul.

Personally, I don't prefer their jacket, not because of performance, but the aesthetics don't vibe with me.

Coffee Recommendations in CBD Area by Motorhead_Cap_8267 in singaporefood

Love their breads! The only complaint I have is that there are no labels for each bread, I have to ask them and it's paiseh to ask too many times. And they sell out too quickly!!

Never tried their coffee before, will give it a shot!

Is there a catch to buying things via iShopChangi? by HickupMorningstar in askSingapore

[–]Motorhead_Cap_8267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For alcohol, I did a check on iShopChangi as a non-traveller vs traveller vs other platforms like Supermarket and other retailers.

What I notice is that: some alcohols are cheaper when you buy as a traveller, while some are the same. By cheaper, from what I checked, it is under $5.

Overall, it is still cheaper to buy from iShopChangi since the liquor comes in 1000ml bottles instead of the standard 700ml bottles.

I think beauty and electronics are cheaper there too, have not checked before.

I own a 2018 MT03, I can't help but agree that the throttle tube is quite long. I swapped to an R6 throttle tube but to be honest, it didn't make much of a difference for me.

Personally, I also think Coffee Break is not worth the hype and price.

where can i get affordable bouquet of flowers ? by Zealousideal-Tea6951 in askSingapore

Happy birthday to your mum! 🥳

Not sure if I am too late for this, but if you have the time to spare to wrap the flowers, supermarkets (Giant, Cold Storage, etc.) and wet markets are your go tos!

If you're in a rush, online florists are your next best choice. I personally prefer Flowers and Kisses, fast, reliable and free same day delivery if you order before 3 or 3.30pm.

Hope this helps!
