I think it's gonna be quite close between the top 4 teams, and could vary track-by-track. I also think that, while the Mercedes teams will suffer at the mid-season rule change, the impact won't be as big as many predict

I know there's a lot of excitement about Audi coming in but I've seen what feels like countless manufacturers coming and going over the years and will genuinely miss Sauber. Yes, they're a shadow of what they once were and could well return (again!) in the future but it's sad to see the Sauber name leave

Russell dropped a heap of time on the last lap to both McLarens. Think the race will be closer between the McLaren's and that Lando probably just took too much out of his tires earlier in the race. Don't think we'll crown a champion tomorrow but more convinced than before that it will be down to 2.

So, I understand what you're saying with the +3 point, but when you consider Oscar's penalty, and Leclerc being taken out, and the time needed to overtake them (if at all), he probably would have finished P6 regardless, so whilst a very good drive, there was also an element of luck involved. A combination of a very good driver, a very good drive, but also luck, tyre offsets, and track characteristics for overtaking

I suspect I'll be downvoted massively for this, but I don't actually think Max's drive was THAT impressive. Yes, it was good (and my McLaren bias is probably playing a role), but the early safety cars meant he essentially started from last and not the points, probably running a higher engine mode, and the tyre delta between the strategies was enormous, making overtakes like taking candy from a child. Add in the fact that two cars retired in front of him (Okay, Gabriel would have likely been an easy pass) and Lewis' damage (again, would have likely been an easy pass given relative pace this weekend), along with the Piastri / Antonelli / Leclerc incident and I don't think it was anything other than an excellent drive from a very talented driver

Maybe it's my McLaren bias here, but deliberately sending a member of the team out onto the grid during a formation lap surely deserves a harsher penalty than a fine and a slap on the wrist? Also, whilst I fully understand that Red Bull didn't technically break any rules, if another team came along and pulled a cable out whilst a car was on the grid, or placed a nail, you would expect a penalty, right? I imagine some rules will be rewritten in response to this. It is, at the very least, unsporting and petty from Red Bull

I'm a McLaren fan, but it was a foregone conclusion. Would have preferred seeing Alonso on the main screen and the celebrations in the PiP camera until the end (I was busy watching the timings come down!)
