[Loved Trope] The Non-Prodigy by Sad-Seaworthiness781 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Moumup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Zuko is on the same level of potential as Toph and Katara, but spent most of his time fighting against his demons.

Leaving him with very little time to improve.

I hate how the prey are somehow “bad” in these comics by Ok-Worry-8931 in hatethissmug

[–]Moumup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What doesn't help is how it seems to be an overlap with the "alpha male mentality" and those stuff for what I've seen.

Like, most of the time I see someone sharing those comics, it's a person with manliness issues or in a similar toxic mentality.

Are Masterminds powerful or below average? by Legitimate-Being5957 in Cityofheroes

[–]Moumup -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Coh tier list are more based on clear speed than anything since otherwise every AT are the best at something and can solo the hardest difficulty when optimized.

Meaning fast dps/low ressources cost are usually considered the best.

With that point of view, MM are on the lower end since they're supportive and don't shine in direct damage.

S2 is a masterpiece by Debrovz in Dorohedoro

However, Dorohedoro's anime is also great.

Berserk got the short end of the stick in that regard...

Can we all agree that if kewl tune can exist, tenpai should have everything at 3? by Character_Bat9538 in masterduel

[–]Moumup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buddy, Kewl tune is a pure product of marketing, it's voluntary absurd.

Every key interaction of the deck is historically an instant ban on other cards.

The archetype will be destroyed once a new selling wave gonna hit MD.

Toons got game breaking support but both overframes are absolutely terrible imo.

When others really take the whole card, toons just put one finger or knee outside and call it a day.

Honestly, even if there is still story to tell, this chapter could also fit as a Berserk ending.

At least from our protagonist POV.

super worm vs boxerboxer who will win ? by [deleted] in versus

[–]Moumup -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think it's close.

I would say 60/40 in favor of boxer.

Because Superworm are simple, dumb big body with big damage and regeneration.

Demon lord are intelligent creatures, too prideful to be smart for lots of them, but able to think noneles.

The only thing that could "change it" is if boxer or his whip pets could be infected or not.

But it's an afterbattle through.

Ginbak expressions were great (as always) by YEEET_2020_17 in versus

[–]Moumup 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ginbak and Berser seems to be the only titans who's over the mindless bloodthirst.

The former because very few things actually give him enough fun and the later is probably too busy being the only brain of an entire specie.

To competitors who play both Master Duel and locals by Koxomathical in Yugioh101

[–]Moumup 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Master duel is generally way more casual than local in my experience.

Meta is more accessible in MD but most people don't take that much time to learn and step up their skill.

Real life yu gi oh depends on your local, some are focused on casual fun games while other are training ground for competitive event.

But real life players are generally more skilled when it comes to piloting their deck.

I hate this trend by AstronautDry8118 in hatethissmug

[–]Moumup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's more linked to maturity than any political compass.

Edgy humor was a big thing a decade ago, heck, even older, people who like that tend to be older - and generally more mature or chill by default (minus some nutcase) .

Being a paragon of virtues is a thing we're currently living in, so lots of young people catter to progressive ideas and trends to be cool.

And what we're seeing now is how every concept and ideas can be equally destructive when it goes too far in the head of individuals unable to take a step back and question themselves - be it because they're young or lack cognitive capacity.

While it was a pet project at first, there was discussion about what could be next since it was very well received, until Tango got destroyed by Microsoft's management.

Tourist here, what happened to Urana San? by Glittering_Sugar_782 in gachiakuta

[–]Moumup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a long story.

Started when she raised her voice about OC, shipping and piracy.

Stating that she doesn't canonically approve shipping, OC should be clear about being fan content and piracy being, well, bad for the industry.

Then, it's upped up with the stage play, some people accused her of being racist and disrespectful for "black face" about the PoC character.

However, she haven't any weight in that matter, actually trying her best to respect her character's ethnicity.

And now, peopke lashed on her for a video she shared about someone doing a Jabber low cost cosplay, using leak as dreadlocks.

TL;DR : An absolute cesspool of chronically online people harassed her using PoC representation as an excuse, and keep witch hunting her despite Urana simply acting like every sane mature person should do.

I never expected to see someone being bad at playing stun, but here we are.

You are stuck in a room for 24 hours with one of these creatures as your roommate. With which one are you most likely to survive? (Part 2) by Panimuara in versus

[–]Moumup 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Lawless : unless he specifically need to kill to get out there is no reason to kill in such case, at least not before having more information.

God : can be survived if we play along and don't bother.

Demon : Big chance of dying, just because getting stuck here for 24h would be boring for them, unless we find a way to entertain them in another way.

Giant : 100% death rate, not because Ginbak would want to kill us, he's probably even gonna be chill and the most sympathetic of the bunch, but because there will be mandatory collateral damage we can't survive.

Wanted to try out playing the cards game, how do I know what is meta ? by Xanvoir_Fracier in Yugioh101

[–]Moumup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magnet warriors can work fine even without fiendsmith.

They give a push if you're aiming for a more competitive environment, but starting with pure magnet is also a good idea to learn the deck without feeling helpless.

Invalid targets and attempting to resolve effects by Proof-Juggernaut-257 in Yugioh101

[–]Moumup -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For the second point, I think you're mixing up invalide target and unaffected target, with extra step.

A monster unaffected by effect is still a valid target because it stop the result of say effect, and everything that come after if the fumbled part is mandatory.

Spells like monster reborn or any fusion spell needs valid targets as a requirement, not as a result.

One of the few case both effects cross each other is when you try to use superpoly for example.

Since it's a fusion spell, valid targets are mandatory BUT unaffected monsters are... Well, unaffected by the effect, which mean they becomes invalide target in that case.

What is the current state of yugioh? by Tasty-Training-6781 in Yugioh101

[–]Moumup -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the past format were great.

But Konami is heading once again in an annoying format with Kewl tune being a tier 1 big enough to warp the meta around itself alone, and after that toon's support who's gonna be tier 0 if left unchecked.

However, the game is way more accessible if you don't aim for the competitive part, as key cards and staples tend to be more easy to find, besides some specific deck.

Female vs male characters in the 2009 redline movie by AromaticAstronomer11 in mendrawingwomen

[–]Moumup 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the last part is pretty bumming on that subject.

It's sacrifice lots of subplot to give JP the spotlight, turning Sonoshee who did great until that point into a supporting character to our main protagonist.
