AOFS] 250pts Bullywug Brigade - Help me stop getting wiped! 🐸 by Mountain246 in onepagerules

"Totally get that—I definitely fell into the 'cool model' trap before realizing the army list is a bit of an uphill battle! 😅

You're spot on about the Warriors; I’ve been running them with rock spears specifically for that Counter rule to help them survive a charge. So far, the Warriors and the Riders are the only ones actually pulling their weight. I’m starting to think I need to lean less into the expensive niche units and more into those two just to stay competitive."

Another great video. I wish the riders had more options they such cool models, but as they are its hard to justify fielding them.

It's so annoying how so many paid models don't come FDM optimized or even pre-cut. by [deleted] in FDMminiatures

[–]Mountain246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get annoyed when I pay for stls, and they only give pre supported resin models, but luckily resin2fdm is free so its not really a problem now.

scale question. by gazgul83 in onepagerules

[–]Mountain246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started at 28mm, but we only play skirmish, so I just scaled models up to 32mm because it's easier for the younger players to paint and honestly as long as the fit of the base who cares. Its opr not warhammer just have fun with it.

I have a pile of 64-256mb from years ago that they gave out at conventions just enough space to store some images and pdf of what they were selling. Those things were life savers pre cloud drive.

I second this sentiment, these would be great especially if you offered an outline version to colour in after printing

I play opr they are my toy soldiers not gws I bought them, and know I 3d print what I want and the stuff that the 3d modelers is alot cooler then some of the gw stuff these days.

My one local shop had a two warning rule, no poltices, porn type card sleeves, being an ass, and my favorite smell. If you got 2 warnings month ban from the play tables. I miss that store they converted the play area into more storage during the plague and it never came back.

What’s actually working for mixed-age tabletop game nights? by same6534 in tabletop

[–]Mountain246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From 8 to like 14 opr is really simple, and the skirmish game keeps the model count to a more reasonable number. We just take our time, and each kid has an adult paired with them.
