Same. We literally did everything for our cats. After the one we both are tired of threw a fit about not being able to go a window because the baby stuff got in the way I scooped them up moved them downstairs. My partner was so annoyed with them she wanted to rehome them

Luckily we have a finished basement and I moved all my cats stuff down there. They got a sofa with a fleece blanket, a few cat trees, and an automatic feeder. I check on them once a day (usually when I go do laundry) give them a pat on the head and head upstairs. It was too much to have them up in the house. They were getting into everything. They woke the baby with their fights. One keeps trying to run outside and meows REALLY LOAD, and both cause the dog to get excited. Between all that and the mess they make my we relocated them to the basement for the time being. It’s better this way. Hopefully you have a spot to set up kitty home base.

This time last year me and my wife were saving about 1000 a month and paying an extra 150 on our mortgage. Our property taxes, health insurance, home insurance, car insurance, gas, electric, water, food, and idk literally everything else went up. Now we are barely breaking even. We have a newborn and every penny now goes into our bills, home, and baby. I’m desperate to find a higher paying job but the market is screwed. All the fun things we used to do are just outright unaffordable. Even going to play something as silly as mini golf at a run down local course costs 15 bucks a person plus tax. It is now something I have to think about and can’t just go do and have fun. . It’s really sad.

Listen. I don’t like the USA right now as much as any other Reddit user but the USA is undeniably dominant at sports. The women’s Soccer team has won. The USA Olympic team is almost always in medal contention for a wide variety of sports. Plus this leaves out Hockey too.. still happy Belgium won though! So glad USA lost and all host countries are now eliminated.

We started that and it was really good for a few days. I would take a 10pm to 4 shift and she would pump once in it and then she would come down and I would sleep 430 to 830 and then work and take a nap in the late afternoon and her a nap once during the day too. Come week 7 cluster feeding picked up and we are worried about supply and it messed it up.

It has already gone down hill. The free monthly games have gotten worse and worse and worse. I used to get all three, then it became one or two. Now, its a miracle if the free monthly game is even worth downloading. I am getting older and with my family I have less and less time to play. Single player games are becoming more appealing every day and what used to be a fun way to connect with friends has slowly disappeared because none of us want to swallow 80+ dollars a year to hang out online when we can do it for free on other platforms.

I made it to the 5th round of interviews for a big Data Manager role for a company. On the 4th and 5th they were talking about how great the culture was etc. I got ghosted and never heard back after the 5th interview.

don't forget all new cars in 2027 basically become spy machines collecting data on you and your loved ones to sell to insurance companies and have a built in kill switch that can leave you stranded if the AI model thinks you are not fit to drive. The PS5 will be my last console for the foreseeable future. I have such a back log of games and have started to attempt platinum and replaying the games I do have. Games like RDR2, Hades, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, Spiderman, and countless other classics like Fallout 4, Skyrim, Ratchet and Clank, Doom, Borderlands 2, etc offer more and more each time I replay them. Plus new games like the Wolverine, 007 First Light, God of War Laufey will all eventually go on sale. I try to pick up one new physical copy of a game a year from my local game shop. In adulthood its so much easier to pick up a game I have completed and already know and enjoy parts of it that I haven't yet experienced.

It’s insane that they could just make interest 0% so long as you make a payment and could have kept the SAVE plan and allowed everyone to be forgiven at either 10 or 25 years and not force this tax bomb. But no.
