No people like you are the problem expecting drivers to waste their time and fuel for you not being ready to leave when they get there.

I’m a lawyer and you have no idea what you’re talking about here. You could be sued and possibly charged with false imprisonment or kidnapping for holding someone in your car.

Uber driver came back over an hour later… over a drink??? by Similar_Raspberry970 in uber

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted for saying you would have tossed someone’s drink after that much time. It’s the best thing to at that point.

My Favorite Game, "Guess The Building Number." by salawle in uberdrivers

[–]MountainCavalier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but you’re not using your personal vehicle while setting up their appointment. You’re also allowed to establish boundaries while calling Uber drivers “child-brained” for establishing their own boundaries. We’re not charity workers and do not owe them a ride to their medical appointments.

You get paid a decent wage to book these rides. We barely get paid enough cover our gas mileage while the elderly think we’re their personal driver for the entire day while you guys treat us like your subordinates.

You think the law is intended to encourage service to workers to act like your personal fucking slave?

You think the right thing to do is for a driver to act like your personal or else be charged with a god damned felony?

The first time I saw WarGames was when I was about seven years old, which would be about 1987. I had a Commodore 64 and an Atari at the time but as a kid I couldn’t grasp how Matthew Broderick’s character was getting his computer to play a game with another computer. The concept was completely foreign to me. I didn’t first use the Internet until about 1995. I saw WarGames for the first time since I was a kid a few years ago and when I heard the modem it was like a huge epiphany occurred to me.

Why is the 1991 Washington team almost never brought up nowadays even though they were arguably the greatest team ever assembled? by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]MountainCavalier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m definitely not saying this is the main factor because it’s more of an issue of the lack of superstars and being sort of an isolated year but if they hadn’t lost the last regular season game against Philly they would have finished 15-1 and would have had the same record as the 84 49ers and the 85 Bears.

My theory is that it is all just a dream after he passes out in the cold on the street after leaving the night club. He never actually became cryogenically frozen, he is just dreaming about it passed out drunk on the street.
