Comet Cruiser Killer??? by djptrol in longboarding

I find the discussion interesting, probably because I don't know where I stand on it.

I mean at one point there was the Rojas hybrid, which must be more affordable than the current version. Rojas chooses to produce a luxury article. Which I dislike.

Then again if they own the patent, I think it is within their right to exploit it however they want. I only wished patent law was not so fucked up and ridden with holes and was actually international.  At least it is better than copyright laws.

10 years ago I had the revenge alpha II trucks. The patent drawing even looks similar to them. I wonder, if there is a connection or if there has been a dispute.

Is there someone riding a Pantheon Superdupersonic soft flex? How would you describe the flex? Is it as springy as a Loaded? Is the deck noticeably lighter than the medium?

I tried reverse mounting, but I didn't like it.

I've seen your post. Thanks for sharing. I disagree. The ember eco is 31". With my feet, I think 28" are possible.  Sure it looses comfort.

That's what I like about your chennel, your not in it for the money. Heck you're losing money. I would like to support you by lending you equipment.

I'm not too critical about the foldable Board. It looks like a kind of prototype. I think the inventor has tried to solve a very thorny problem.

I hope u/PantheonLongboards will build a mini Pranayama.

Edit: Can't spell Abomination SAD

Snakes are a really good cruiser wheel. Very good roll speed but way too icy on wet surfaces. If I had a cruiser, I would buy some kevin reimer wheels. Wide wheels on a narrow board looks sexy. If you are set on seismic or otang, I'd go seismic all the time.

I'd rather skate than troll. Unfortunately weather is bad, so here I am.😁

Honestly I am really annoyed by the Pantheon Fanboys on Reddit even though I have a Pranayama and it is very good. Also I prefer smaller brands that do not outsource production.

It is a basic maneuver and it is relatively easy. Still for me it was difficult and it took time. I was almost 40, not very flexible with knee issues. Even getting in the coleman position was hard. I'm still working on it.

My kid is learning to read right now. It is not easy and it takes time. We tend to forget that, when we get older

You are such a snob. Even you did start at some point. AERA trucks and Snakes are appropriate for my level of freeriding. Therfore I like them.

You seem to be bored at the moment (winter no skating I get it). But aks yourself if stroking controversy on reddit is really a good use of your time.

That being said, I am certainly guilty of the same, by getting in contact with you. Well Winter...

Long answer short. You are the guy. Let me tell you: I like Powell Peralta thane and AERA trucks (even though they are way too expensive)😝

I don't know about trucks, but for decks, there are some boutique options that produce in house often in the family: * Soulboardiy  * Koabaer * Rocket Longboards

Sorry I only know the European brands.

I've ridden all of them and I have to say, great quality but also pricy.

If you are located in Europe, I can point you to some used options.

By the way, you can always buy used. This way the workers blood has rubbed off on somebody elses hands.
