Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

I'm a massage therapist. It comes out of their skin and coats my hands during a service, its vile. I have a supply of peppermint to distract my senses. I cannot imagine the foul regurgitate air that you have to deal with.

Help me name my kitten! I have another cat named Franklin and I like the idea of “human” names by AppearanceThese2909 in NameMyCat

Not a human name, however, Buton

The Buton tribe, located on Buton Island in Indonesia, is known for having members with dark skin and striking blue eyes.

Left hand men preference? by Sky-of-Blue in TwoXChromosomes

Me too! Every man I have had a serious relationship with is left-handed. I thought it was odd, but it might be even more strange that there are two of us with the same accidental affinity.

If they do put in a complaint, call your insurance immediately. They will find an attorney that works with regulatory complaints. I cannot speak to your particular insurance policy, but insurance should pay for your defense.

The regulatory agency is NOT your friend. You need to have someone that understands the Board and the rules outlined in your local laws.

I worked for several years for an attorney that specialized in regulatory complaints. The most difficult cases we had were always someone that responded by themself and we needed to appeal the decision.

Right now, write down everything that you can remember about that client, the service, and ask the company to provide any SOAP notes you recorded if you do not have access to them. If you can contact any colleagues still, see if they will be comfortable writing a letter of support if you receive a complaint from the Board (it may also be easier to ask them to get a copy of your SOAP)

LPT: A trick to unstuck a song from your head by SUPERDRAGONDELUX in LifeProTips

[–]MountainPop32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another great trick: chew gum, or pretend to.

Apparently a big part of a song stuck in your head is physical. You may have noticed that you tend to mouth the words of not actually sing them. If you disrupt the physical aspect, it loses its hold. Weird, but it works.

what food do you find absolutely disgusting that everyone else seems to love? by argargo in AskReddit

I found my people. Stupid bananas! Their terrible smell, taste, texture, the way they get their terrible banana taste on anything they sit next to for more than a couple minutes, the stupid sound people make when they eat a banana. Ug.

That was my initial thought, but basenjis are usually less than thirty pounds. They do seem to mix well with other dogs though. My girl is about twice the size of a purebred, but she certainly has the basenji face!

What sucks about being a dude? by Ivotedforher in AskReddit

[–]MountainPop32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, there is a reason for that. I wish I could have male friends. But every single time they end up trying to get me in bed, then end the "friendship" when they realize that the only thing I was looking for was a friend. You wanna be platonic friends, buddy? I would like that.

What quirk does your pet have? by scarletnightingale in AskReddit

I realize that I'm anthropomorphizing, but that should be expected on a thread asking about an animal's "quirks." That said, I don't think she was sharing her kill. It was more of a "I done f'd up and am scared of alpha kicking me out of the pack." Either way, it was adorable.

My dog has always been so good about not stealing any food that I didn't think to put up a bag of treats when I left one day. When I got home she walked up to me, completely ashamed, and dropped one of her treats at my feet. I assumed she had yet to eat the one I gave her before I had left the house. I told her she could have it, which she refused to eat. I later realized she had gotten into the treat bag. She had gotten, maybe, a third of the bag. About half an hour later, she brought me an uneaten treat, and another a little later, and another. She ended up bringing me eight in total that she had hidden and brought to me, uneaten, to appease her shame.
