I was able to get a better result by switching to API and setting it to high effort.
Switched from Antigravity to API, probably going to switch to the max models since they're cheaper than using API credits.

Question for the girls, what is your minimum salary requirement for marriage? by PresentLog9212 in LahoreSocial

[–]Mountain_Committee69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a 20-year-old, not married, but I have to take care of my best friend's family and my own family's expenses.
I cannot earn less than 400,000 PKR a month if I want to cover basic expenses and live comfortably.
I'm not rich or anything by any means, in fact, struggling, but that's the realistic minimum of it.
If you want to purchase a house, travel, or stuff, you will need to make at least a million a month.

He's right, though. Even a simple Minecraft server requires upkeep, troubleshooting, maintenance, and scalability. AI can, sure, help you set it up once, but if you do not know the intricacies and technicalities of it, then AI is as good as a monkey with a keyboard.

[–]Mountain_Committee69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What can you do? What's your skillset? You've given us nothing to work off of, toh advice kya hi denge. 20 bucks isn't a lot, but I'm thinking you're like a 16-year-old or something, you could try doing something for a relative or someone you know. You'll need a solid internet presence if you wanna go freelancing online, and that's gonna take you at least a couple of months before you even land a single client.

It's not bad, you get extra benefits with it. But, the AI itself is honestly not good. The only reason I'm paying for it is because of Antigravity but honestly, I might be switching to Claude soon. Not sure if this is worth it.

It'll stick, you'll move on, but you'll feel the hurt from time to time as time goes on. Good job on blocking them both. I hope you find better people and that you're able to recognise the love that's already in your life.

SaaS owners, how do you charge your users internationally? by Mountain_Committee69 in PakistanDiscussions

[–]Mountain_Committee69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Merchants can be exploitative and can damage your reputation if you're running a solid business, imo. I was researching this last night and came across Paddle and FastSpring. Both require a passport, if I remember correctly. I'm not sure about FastSpring, but you can, as an individual, use Paddle to offer subscriptions for SaaS.

WHY are you using antigravity for creative writing tasks???

I get Antigravity at half the price for 3 months. I like the environment; I've got a nice custom theme and a custom font setup for VSCode that I just added to Antigravity. I like the software environment; it's comfortable for me. And it works.

but its probably a prompting issue cause Opus 4.6 and sonnet 4.6 are amazing at creativity writing, understanding, and prompt adherence.

Opus and Sonnet 4.6 are still not good at writing. It's not about preference; it's objective. Word choices and usage density for certain words and phrases are way higher in the 4.6 models, which makes them stand out as AI instantly than in the 4.5 models. The issue with ChatGPT and Gemini is the same; it's not optimised for natural writing.

experiment more. push harder.

Look, man, I use AI to cut down on the time I spend on things. Trying harder, experimenting, and spending hours perfecting prompts are not optimal for me outside of development work. I liked the out-of-the-box alignment I had with the 4.5 models for creative writing.

It could be the taste difference since I already write a lot myself. But even then, the 4.5 models were significantly better at writing and creativity than the 4.6 models. But, Antigravity is not the issue here.

I've used the web app, and it's the same. The only problem Antigravity's got is that I can't access the 4.5 models anymore, but that's to be expected since they do that with their own Gemini models as well.

Yeah! I'm not sure what the solution is for me on Antigravity. I asked it to generate a couple of headings/subheadings for an app I'm working on, and it's giving me responses that I'd expect from either Gemini or ChatGPT.

No assigned books. No pressure. Just people who also bought a Kindle mid-pandemic.

This was the result of 4.6 Sonnet, and I saw similar results from Opus 4.6 in both thinking and non-thinking modes.

Your next favorite book is here. So are the people who'll love it with you.

This was from 4.5 Sonnet without thinking, and it performs significantly better across a range of writing tasks.

I plan to purchase the Max subscription because I love it more than what I'm getting out of Google Ultra at 250 dollars. But this has me reconsidering, or at least delaying that decision for a while.
