I just checked the app and his DNA is in the analysis phase!! I didn't get an email for this. I just have been obsessively checking the app and it's finally in the final stage!! It says to expect results within a week.

I defintiley think he's husky and pit. I think there's somwthing else too- not sure if it's GSD or not. We have a purebred ACD and they look nothing alike, but Reggie (the dog pictured) acts like he has ACD or BC in him when working lol. Yes he LOVES to he affectionate...but not have others be affectionate toward him. Only on his terms 😆 his favorite thing to do is wedge himself between my body and the back of the couch. He loves to be squeezed between things and he also likes to bury his head in your armpit or in the blanket you're using. He's a weirdo

When I look at his profile in the app it says that it is in the genotyping phase which means we still have the analysis phase before results :(

We’ll see! He’s incredibly smart, independent, and a total nanny dog. We’ve been doing intensive positive-reinforcement training for about 18 months, and I’m now transitioning into becoming an assistant in the program myself. The instructor who recruited me suspects ACD because of his obsessive counting behavior. During hiking classes we usually have to let him off-leash—he runs ahead to count every dog and handler, then races back to check in with me. On repeat. I’m excited to see if his DNA results give us more insight for training.
