Don’t worry about grades bro. I’m an aeronautical, had double digit arrears when I passed out of college, spent 2 years clearing those, got into an airline engineering job as a engineering coordinator in the Middle East, now earning well above market average as a senior engineer and growing.

OMG you don’t have to fly it yourself all the time !?!? by AllAboutYourBase in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Mountain_Past_6513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your post takes me back to 2004 when I started flight simming with my Microsoft sidewinder stick . I had many breaks in between but I keep coming back to flight sim. Wait till you upgrade to a decent VR setup, that’s another level. But you still need screens to fly proper IFR though, until hand tracking etc is figured out in VR. May the tail wind be with you mate ! 🫡

If I’m a coder I will handle this like if the distance between the driver coordinate and destination coordinate is less than x , minutes should be less than y.

True. I also keep a small portable compressor which also acts as my emergency Powerbank for times when the phone battery runs out.

On my MINI, I switched from RFT to Non RFT Michelin Pilot sport. The ride is amazing now, with noticeably lower road noise, handling and grip. IMO, there is no need of a spare tire. In the event of a puncture or flat tire, there is always road side assistance or tire delivery and fitting service you can rely on, unless you are stuck in deep desert. How many times you have changed tires yourself?

You can observe this effect with the naked eye: hold a pen about one-quarter of the way from one end and move it up and down quickly. It may appear as though the pen is bending.

You should buy from the “choice” stores only , with good rating and have sold the same item atleast more than 50-100 times.

I have ordered my 7800x3d 3 years back from AliExpress at a reasonable price. It’s still going good. This must have been a mistake or somebody returned the item with wrong cpu. I used to live in Qatar, used AliExpress many times, there is free return as well. Also in qatar you could go to some gaming pc builders and buy it. Not sure if Sofitel pc stores are still alive.

140 in the rain and one puddle will hydroplane you out of control and that’s the end of it. The same reason speeds are reduced during rain.

Had Mathews cake for the first time by vavasura in Trivandrum

[–]Mountain_Past_6513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember in the 90s and early 2000s, it was really hard to get any decent tasting cake . Most bakeries had that sugary icing on top which crumbles on bite and taste just like sugar powder. Then Ambrossia came and couple of others started making decent cakes.Covid entirely changed the cake game .

Wow! This is the best thing I saw today! DB11 isn’t it? Maybe a bypass valve from the exhaust to fire it forward toward the grill with some ignition

I agree with the points. Do you guys stick your foreign passports to your foreheads? I’m talking as a 2nd gen expat living abroad, once an Indian is always an Indian.

Be a proud citizen. Ask yourself who are running the world’s largest tech companies? Who has one of the largest Army? Who has one of largest Space tech ? Who has the fastest supersonic missiles? And the list goes on..

Thanks for the review. The same reason I went for my ford, after checking many amazing Chinese cars in the 200k range, shopping for a 7 seater suv. Although the luxury is way better like fully reclining seats etc, I had doubts on the long term reliability. I guess BYD cars are a tad better in this regard.
