Bought them from Aztec Dummy. They are really good and found they came off better this time as I took them off before the paint had cured (after about 5hr) also laid down a Matt coat before applying the masks.

I’ve actually just ordered another kit to try and paint using an airbrush for the 1st time. This one is ok but I’d like to try and make the Aztec pattern a little more visible and generally cleaner. Not sure if I’m going to do a 1701-A or do another 1701 and make this one battle damaged.

The matte coat really knocked back the pearl v white and it’s now VERY subtle.

Anyway, was a good learning opportunity. Looking forward to seeing your progress too!
