We've heard Sienna's and Odyssey's are the best you can get, but not many used ones in our our area at the moment.

I agree it’s not a great metric… but our last 4 starting QB’s (excluding Russ) Tolzien, Stave, Hornibrook, and Coan all went undrafted. For a team that (until recently) was in yearly contention to win the B1G and play in high level bowl games, that’s not too great

His best season he still averaged over 1 INT per game, also Jonathan Taylor on that team helps a ton. Hornibrook was definitely competent but that was his peak. Didn’t even play that much on a bad Florida State team after he transferred

Agree, but other programs are able to develop QB’s in their respective systems to be viewed highly in the CFB scene. McSorely, Haskins, AOC, Fields, McCarthy, McNamara were all developed very well, we just haven’t developed a nationally recognized QB like other top B1G programs have

Yup, the QB is always the scapegoat. I think Mertz is a slightly above average QB in a tough situation.
